The All-New Jeep® Grand Cherokee L Is Arriving In Dealer Inventories:
The Fifth-Generation Grand Cherokee Is Finally Here...
It’s been almost 30 years since the Jeep® brand launched the Grand Cherokee nameplate. Since then, the Grand Cherokee has become the most-awarded SUV nameplate ever and has sold nearly 7 million around the world. Well, a new chapter is upon us, with the launch of the first part of a trio of new variants for the all-new Grand Cherokee (WL) that is now arriving in dealer’s inventories around the country.
Entering its fifth generation, the Grand Cherokee has been designed and engineered to deliver an unmatched combination of legendary 4×4 capability, class-leading on-road refinement, premium craftsmanship both inside and out, in a stylish package that offers the most advanced safety and technology features than ever before. This leads up to the introduction of the all-new 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L (also known as the WL75).
The 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L is the first Grand Cherokee to ever offer seating for 6 or 7 passengers, depending on the configuration.
The all-new Grand Cherokee L continues the Grand Cherokee legendary 4×4 capability by offering Quadra-Trac I, Quadra-Trac II, or Quadra-Drive II 4×4 systems, Quadra-Lift air suspension, Selec-Terrain traction management system to dominate any terrain thrown at it. With its first all-new architecture in a decade and a newly aerodynamic body, the new Grand Cherokee L is designed to improve performance, safety, and reliability than the Grand Cherokee (WK2) it replaces. This means significantly reduced vehicle weight, noise, vibration, and harshness.
The Grand Cherokee L is offered in four trim configurations (Laredo, Limited, Overland, and Summit). There will be a darkened-themed Altitude model based on the Laredo and an off-road-oriented Overland with Off-Road Group.
The Overland with Off-Road Group offers “Trail Rated” capability like class-leading traction, ground clearance, maneuverability, articulation, and improved water fording (capable of up to 24 inches). The Off-Road Group also includes high-strength steel skid plates, electronic limited-slip differential rear axle, 18-inch aluminum wheels, and rugged, all-season performance tires.
For the premium Summit model, there is an ultra-premium Summit Reserve package that includes hand-wrapped, quilted Palermo leather, open-pore Waxed Walnut wood, 21-inch multi-spoked wheels, ventilated 2nd-row seats, suede headliner, and a McIntosh premium sound system with a 17-channel amplifier with a maximum output of 950 watts and 19 speakers, including a 10-inch subwoofer. The Summit Reserve is the ultimate expression of luxury for the Grand Cherokee L.
