Meet The Rest Of The 2021 Jeep® Grand Cherokee L Lineup:

Laredo, Altitude, & Limited Will Make Up A Majority Of The New WL Sales...

Earlier this month, the Jeep® brand pulled the covers off of its highly-anticipated three-row 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. While we did get a bunch of new information from the launch, it was more focused on the premium Overland, Summit, and Summit Reserve models. It has left a lot of the Grand Cherokee fan base wondering about the rest of the lineup. Now, thanks to our dealer connections we are learning more about the other models in the lineup.

2021 Jeep® Grand Cherokee L Altitude 4×4. (MoparInsiders).

Slotted just above the Grand Cherokee L Laredo, is the Altitude model. Based on the Laredo, the Altitude adds the popular dark treatment people have come to love on models across the Jeep vehicle portfolio for the past decade.

Lauded for its power and refinement, the 60-degree angle between the Pentastar V6’s cylinder banks makes it inherently smooth running, augmented by accessories that bolt directly to the engine block. The 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine is rated for a towing capacity of up to 6,200 pounds and an estimated class-leading driving range of nearly 500 miles. It is paired with a TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmission.

Production of the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L will begin in early March at the Mack Avenue Complex in Detroit, Michigan. Don’t forget to check out our dedicated WLJeepForum.com forum, to discuss everything surrounding the fifth-generation Grand Cherokee (WL) models.
