The 2024 Chrysler Carlisle Nationals Are Right Around The Corner

This year’s Chrysler Carlisle Nationals promises to be a spectacular celebration of Mopar history and community. Scheduled for July 12-14, 2024, at the Carlisle Fairgrounds in Carlisle, Pennslyvania, the event will commemorate 20 years of the Dodge Ram SRT-10, a truck that famously packed a Viper V-10 engine under its hood. Fans of this unique vehicle can look forward to a special display tent in the Viper and SRT-10 truck area on the Showfield.

Honoring Mopar Survivors Founder Mel Major – 

The Mopar community was deeply affected by Mel Major’s recent passing, the founder of Mopar Survivors. His sons, Gregg and Ken, have pledged to carry on their father’s legacy by continuing the iconic Mopar Survivors Display. This exhibit showcases Mopar vehicles that are at least 25 years old and retain a minimum of 85% of their original assembly line parts. Automotive Flea Market and Midway Vendors – 

For those looking to score rare parts, collectibles, automobilia, or even their next classic car, the automotive flea market and midway vendors at the Chrysler Carlisle Nationals offer a treasure trove of options. The event also features a car corral where buyers can purchase classic cars directly from the sellers. This experience is best enjoyed in person to fully appreciate the wide range of offerings.

Activities and Contests –

A variety of contests and activities will keep attendees entertained throughout the event:

• Kick-Off to Carlisle Party: Hosted by Mopar Rebellion on Thursday at 4:00 p.m. at the Carlisle Expo Center. This event features food, music, and over 400 Mopars.
• Rolling Burnout and Donut Contest: On Saturday, participants can showcase their skills with rolling burnouts and donuts. Sign-ups start Friday at Guest Services.
• Autocross Real Street Shootout: Held on Friday, this contest is open to registered and street-legal cars on the Showfield. Participants must bring their SNELL-certified helmets.
• Celebrity Choice Award: Notable figures in the automotive hobby will select their favorite cars from the Showfield, making this a prestigious and personal recognition.
• Best Wide Whitewall Award: Sponsored by Coker Tire, this award honors cars with exceptional wide-whitewall tires from various Coker brands.

Additional Features – 

The event will also include educational sessions led by industry experts, covering topics such as restoration techniques, care and maintenance, and engine building. The Women’s Oasis offers non-automotive items, while the food court provides a variety of delicious options.
