The new 2021 Jeep® Wrangler Unlimited 4xe, has been named “Hybrid Technology Solution of the Year” by the AutoTech Breakthrough Awards program. The AutoTech Breakthrough Awards program is devoted to honoring excellence in automotive technologies, services, companies, and products. The AutoTech Breakthrough Awards program provides a forum for public recognition around the achievements of AutoTech companies and solutions in categories, including Connected Car, Electric Vehicles, Engine Tech, Automotive CyberSecurity, Sensor Technology, Traffic Tech, Vehicle Telematics, and more.
The Wrangler Unlimited 4xe features the most-advanced powertrain ever put into a Wrangler. Utilizing the popular 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, two electric motors, a high-voltage battery pack, and a unique ZF-based TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmission, the Wrangler Unlimited 4xe can deliver up to 25 miles of zero-emission propulsion and is commuter-friendly as an all-electric daily driver without range anxiety.
The Wrangler Unlimited 4xe maximizes efficiency with an estimated 50 miles per gallon equivalent (MPGe). Making a combined 375 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft. of torque, the 4xe models can do a 0 to 60 mph time of 6-seconds and provide a total of 400 miles driving range.

4xe models proudly wear the Jeep “Trail Rated” badge. All Wrangler Unlimited 4xe models are equipped with solid front and rear axles, a full-time 4×4 two-speed transfer case, fully-articulating suspension, and features 30-inches of water fording capability.
With the global market for autonomous vehicles will be worth $556.67 billion by 2026, the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 4xe proves to be a pivotal point for the future of the iconic off-road brand. The Wrangler Unlimited 4xe models will start to arrive in dealerships in the United States next month.
