Jeep® Renegade Is Argentina’s Best-Selling SUV In 2021!

With more than 6,900 units sold so far in 2021, the Jeep® Renegade (B1) was crowned the best-selling SUV in Argentina. The Argentine market has three different models to choose from. There is the entry-level Renegade Sport, equipped with the 1.8-liter E.torQ gasoline engine that delivers 130 horsepower and 134 lb.-ft. (182 Nm) of torque with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic, both in front-wheel-drive (4×2). For those who require a more off-road-worthy machine, the Renegade Trailhawk offers a four-wheel-drive (4×4) capability with a 2.0-liter turbodiesel inline-four-cylinder engine mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission with 4×4 Jeep Active Drive Low.

Renegade sales grew 3.8% compared to the same period of the previous year in Argentina, despite the semi-conductor shortage.
