This beautiful fourth-generation (GEN IV) 2010 Dodge Viper SRT-10 Roadster was recently put up for auction on the popular online automotive bidding site, Bring A Trailer. Only 157 units of the Roadster were built in 2010, and this one is 1 of 7 Roadsters painted in this color combination for the year. But what really sets this GEN IV Roadster apart from the rest, is the fact it has 8 original miles on its odometer.

Originally delivered new to Empire Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep® in Wilkesboro, North Carolina, and remained with the first owner until August 2021 when it was acquired by the person who posted it on Bring A Trailer.

Under the hood, was an 8.4-liter “VIPER” V-10 rated from the factory at 600 horsepower and 560 lb-ft (759 N⋅m) of torque. It generated enough power to light up a small city. To control its massive output, the VIPER channeled everything through a ZF Sachs twin-disc clutch that reduced clutch-pedal effort and improved engagement. To unleash all of that force, a Tremec TR6060 heavy-duty, 6-speed manual transmission drove the car’s massive 335/30×19-inch rear tires.

The car is fitted with 275/35 front and 345/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport tires showing 2009 date codes on “Six-Spoke” 18-inch x 19-inch forged aluminum wheels. A set of Brembo red four-piston brake calipers can be seen between the spokes.

Inside, the cabin featured bolstered bucket seats upholstered in black leather with suede microfiber inserts and Viper-logo backrest embroidery along with matching door panels and black carpeting. There were also power windows, an AM/FM/CD stereo head unit with navigation, a 7-speaker Alpine sound system with subwoofers, and power-adjustable. The steering wheel and seats even still had the factory plastic protective covers, still on them.
