CAUGHT: Production Ready 2021 Ram 1500 Classic Warlock:

Second Ram 1500 Classic Warlock Confirms Return For 2021...

Last month, our spy photographers happened upon the Ram 1500 Classic Warlock model absent of its decals and testing in the Metro Detroit area. What caught our eye could have been the tester’s set of wheels being from the successful 2017 Ram 1500 Night special edition pickup, but it was the fact that the Warlock might return for 2021, confirming our inside sources who have stated that the Ram 1500 Classic models would continue production until 2023.

Now our spy photographers have stumbled upon another 2021 Ram 1500 Classic Warlock Crew Cab 4×4, this time adorned with its Warlock livery. While this particular model shares the same Bright White exterior color, this model also is wearing the same 20-inch x 9-inch Gloss Black aluminum wheels as the 2017 Ram 1500 Night as well.

What separates this truck from the other is the addition of the popular RamBox cargo management system and is powered by the legendary 5.7-liter HEMI V8 as clearly shown by the badging and the dual rear exhaust outlets underneath the rear bumper.

For the most part, it looks like the same overall Warlock package will return for 2021. For those aren’t familiar with the Warlock package, it features the fourth-generation Ram Rebel grille, front and rear powder coated bumpers, a 1-inch factory lift, black wheel flares, LED fog lamps, projector headlamps with dark bezels, LED rear tail lamps, black badging, tow hooks, unique hood decals, heavy-duty shocks, and can be equipped with a Sport hood.

Inside, the Warlock features Diesel Gray cloth seating, ParkSense rear park assist system. The Luxury Group adds features like a leather-wrapped steering wheel, auto-dimming rearview mirror, an overhead console, 7-inch thin-film-transistor (TFT) cluster display, LED bed lighting, and power foldaway mirrors. Buyers can also add such features as a heated bench or bucket seats, an 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen with navigation, black side steps, and a factory spray-in bed liner.

We expect that the Warlock will also continue offering a choice of powertrains including the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 (305 horsepower and 269 lb.-ft. of torque) or 5.7-liter HEMI® V8 engine (395 horsepower and 410 lb.-ft. of torque). Both engines are currently paired to an 8-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission. Both Quad Cab and Crew Cab configurations are available, while two-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive configurations are available.

The Warlock plays an integrated role in the continued success of the Ram 1500 Classic. Recently, Warlock was introduced to the Australian marketplace
