Camp Jeep® & Ram Truck Territory Rides Return To Detroit

Bigger, Badder, & More Vehicles Than Before...

As the curtain rises on the Detroit Auto Show, formerly known as the North American International Auto Show, anticipation surges among automotive enthusiasts in the Motor City. While the event may have evolved from its glory days, it still stands as a beacon for car lovers eager to witness the latest innovations from Detroit’s Big-3 automakers.

The popular Camp Jeep® and Ram Truck Territory indoor test tracks are among the attractions. These interactive test tracks attract thousands of people and are sure to be fan favorites at the upcoming show.

Camp Jeep makes a triumphant return this year, promising visitors a revamped and exhilarating experience. Covering a sprawling 32,000 square feet, this interactive course offers a heart-pounding adventure guided by skilled drivers.

A standout feature of the 2023 Camp Jeep is the awe-inspiring off-camber bridge, soaring to a staggering 12 feet in height and stretching 70 feet in length. This represents a remarkable 50% increase in both height and length compared to its predecessor. Another thrilling addition is the Jeep crevasse, a 40-foot-long and 10-foot-tall off-road obstacle composed of 96 massive timbers measuring 8 inches by 8 inches by 8 feet. The Jeep crevasse tests the limits of Jeep 4×4 maneuverability and suspension as vehicles navigate over the towering timbers.

For the first time at the Detroit Auto Show, young adventurers will have their own dedicated course, where they can take the wheel of Jeep 4xe Power Wheels. Additionally, a 26-foot climbing wall promises to delight young and old alike.

A highlight of Camp Jeep is the 23-foot mountain, boasting ascent and descent angles of 40 degrees. It stands as the tallest and steepest mountain in the history of the Detroit Auto Show.

Beyond the adrenaline-inducing tracks, consumers can explore Jeep’s strides in electrification, customization, concept vehicles, and more. Demonstrating their commitment to the community, 40 potted trees from the display will be donated to local charities after the show.
