Stellantis Starts Exporting Jeep® Commander To The Middle East
Stellantis Expands Exports with Brazilian-Built D-SUV...

Stellantis is stepping up its global game with the announcement that the Jeep® Commander, the three-row SUV designed and built in Brazil, will begin shipping to the Middle East by the end of 2025. The move marks another milestone in the Commander’s international journey, opening doors in some of the most competitive automotive markets in the world.
Expanding Jeep’s Global Reach –

The Commander has already proven itself in Latin America, with nearly 8,000 units exported across 14 countries since its launch in 2021. Now, Stellantis is setting its sights on the Middle East, targeting markets like Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain. More than 500 units are expected to arrive in the region by late 2025, shipped directly from Brazil’s Suape Port in Pernambuco.
For Stellantis, the move reinforces a global strategy: exporting models engineered and produced in South America to meet international demand. By doing so, the company not only increases Jeep’s worldwide footprint but also proves that Brazilian-made vehicles can compete on the same stage as products built in Europe, North America, and Asia.
Built in Brazil, Designed for Families –

The Commander stands out as Jeep’s first seven-seat SUV developed entirely in Brazil. Produced at the Stellantis Goiana Automotive Pole in Pernambuco, the SUV is a favorite among families thanks to its roomy interior, premium materials, and advanced safety tech. In fact, it’s the best-selling seven-seat SUV in Brazil since its debut, racking up over 70,000 units sold domestically.
Under the hood, the Commander offers buyers a range of turbocharged engine options, including gas, diesel, and flex-fuel setups. The SUV also comes standard with an advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) package, featuring adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, collision warning with automatic braking, and more. This blend of safety, comfort, and technology has helped the Commander carve out its reputation as one of Jeep’s most versatile SUVs.
Economic Impact in Brazil –

Exporting the Commander to the Middle East isn’t just good news for Jeep—it’s also a major win for Brazil’s auto industry. Stellantis is the biggest automotive employer in Pernambuco, and its operations at the Goiana plant fuel both local jobs and national exports.
The Port of Suape plays a central role in this effort. In 2024 alone, more than 80,000 vehicles passed through the facility, with 77% built in Goiana. So far in 2025, over 39,000 Stellantis-built vehicles have already been exported from Pernambuco and Minas Gerais combined. In July 2025, Stellantis moved an impressive 14,000 units in a single month, showing the strength and efficiency of its Brazilian supply chain.
Looking Ahead –

By sending the Commander to the Middle East, Stellantis is proving that a Brazilian-built Jeep can go toe-to-toe in one of the toughest SUV markets worldwide.
With families in the Middle East soon to experience the Commander’s blend of space, tech, and premium design, this export push could be just the beginning of even bigger opportunities for Stellantis’ Brazilian-built lineup.
