Stellantis Post It’s Sales Numbers For Canada In Q4 2024!

Chrysler, Dodge, Ram, and Jeep® Lead Growth...

Stellantis (FCA Canada) wrapped up 2024 with a strong finish in the Canadian market, driven by notable growth in several vehicle categories, especially for the Chrysler, Dodge, and Ram brands. While the automaker reported a solid performance in the fourth quarter, total sales for the year saw an 18% decline. In Q4, Stellantis sold 30,650 vehicles, marking a 5% increase compared to the same period in the previous year. However, full-year sales for 2024 totaled 129,945 units, reflecting a decrease of 18% year-over-year.

“As we gear up for the 2025 model year and beyond, we’re dedicated to delivering vehicles with advanced, diverse powertrains (PHEV, BEV, ICE) across our iconic brands at competitive prices,” said Jeff Hines, President – Canada, Stellantis. “We are excited about our new products, including the Made-In-Canada Dodge Charger Daytona, now arriving in dealerships, Jeep® Wagoneer S, plus the eagerly anticipated launches of the Ram 1500 Ramcharger and Jeep Recon.”

Chrysler brands saw a positive performance in Q4, with both the Chrysler Grand Caravan and Chrysler Pacifica showing sales increases. These models continued to appeal to Canadian families, with the Grand Caravan specifically benefiting from its reputation as a family-friendly and affordable minivan.

Full-Year Sales
For the year, Chrysler’s Grand Caravan saw a substantial 131% sales increase, contributing to the brand’s success in a challenging year. The Chrysler Pacifica also showed strong sales performance, as its versatility and hybrid options made it a popular choice for consumers.

Q4 Sales
Dodge saw impressive growth in Q4, with the Dodge Durango marking a remarkable 212% increase in sales. This was one of the brand’s strongest performers, highlighting the appeal of its powerful and family-friendly SUV.

Additionally, the Dodge Charger Daytona, the brand’s first fully electric vehicle, was launched toward the end of 2024. While still early in its production, 54 cars were sold by the close of the year.

Full-Year Sales
Dodge’s 2024 performance was driven by the Durango’s success, which continued to show a strong consumer following. The introduction of the Charger Daytona and the 2024 Charger Daytona Scat Pack with 670 horsepower demonstrated Dodge’s commitment to performance, now with an electric twist.

Q4 Sales
Ram posted an impressive Q4 performance, with the Ram ProMaster seeing a staggering 190% increase in sales over Q4 2023. The ProMaster’s strong commercial market demand contributed to this surge, as businesses continue to rely on Ram’s work-ready trucks.

Combined Ram Heavy Duty and Chassis Cab sales saw significant increases, with a 55% jump in Q4. This shows that Ram continues to be a leader in the Heavy Duty truck market in Canada.

Full-Year Sales
Ram Heavy Duty and Chassis Cab sales increased by 19% for the full year, underlining their reliability and strong market position. The ProMaster’s 44% year-over-year increase also helped drive Ram’s overall performance.

Q4 Sales
The Jeep brand experienced solid growth in Q4, particularly with the Jeep Compass, which saw a 38% increase in sales. This growth marks seven consecutive quarters of increases for the popular compact SUV. The Jeep Grand Cherokee L and Jeep Wrangler also had solid performances, with sales increasing by 30% and 9%, respectively.

Full-Year Sales
Jeep also saw notable gains for the year. The Compass continued to be a strong seller, with a 43% increase in annual sales. The Grand Cherokee L, the first-ever three-row Grand Cherokee, also had a solid year, growing 7% in 2024.

Jeep’s expansion into the electric vehicle market continued with the launch of the all-electric Wagoneer S, as part of the brand’s electrification strategy. The upcoming Jeep Recon will further support Jeep’s move into the EV space, marking an exciting phase for the brand in 2025.

For the year, the Fiat 500e sold 1,275 units, positioning the model as a key player in Canada’s affordable EV segment. The 500e’s sales reflect the growing consumer interest in EVs, especially for those looking for more budget-friendly options.

Alfa Romeo saw mixed results in Q4 2024. The Giulia experienced a 25% drop in sales, while the Tonale PHEV saw a 16% decrease year-over-year. The Stelvio and Tonale also struggled, with sales down 37% and 46%, respectively.

For the full year, Alfa Romeo’s sales declined by 20%. The Giulia and Stelvio both saw significant decreases, but the Tonale PHEV showed promise with a 22% increase in sales, reflecting the brand’s push for electrification despite challenges in the competitive luxury market.
