Stellantis Mexico Continues To Post Record Sales

Subcompact / Compact Vehicles Continue To Push Automaker Forward South Of The Border...

Stellantis Mexico has once again has posted some record sales for the Mexican marketplace during March 2024. With a total of 9,486 units sold, the company has continued its upward trajectory, reflecting its more efficient compact vehicle lineup.

Ram – 

2024 Ram 700 Laramie CVT. (Ram).

Leading the charge in Stellantis Mexico’s lineup, Ram emerged as the top-selling brand for the month. With a total of 2,760 units sold. Notably, the subcompact Ram 700 stole the spotlight with sales reaching 1,464 units, attesting to its popularity among consumers. Ram Heavy Duty and 1500 models also contributed significantly with sales of 587 and 328 units, respectively, while the Ram ProMaster Rapid recorded sales of 362 units.

Alfa Romeo – 

2024 Alfa Romeo Tonale Veloce Q4 PHEV. (Alfa Romeo).

Alfa Romeo celebrated a historic milestone in March, achieving its best-ever sales performance. With a total of 50 units sold, Alfa Romeo saw remarkable success, driven by the exceptional performance of the Alfa Romeo Giulia, which recorded its highest monthly sales to date. Additionally, the Alfa Romeo Tonale made a notable impact with sales totaling 31 units.

Dodge – 

2024 Dodge Attitude SXT CVT. (Dodge Mexico).

Dodge maintained its strong presence in the Mexican market with a total of 1,877 units sold in March. The Dodge Attitude emerged as a favorite among consumers, with sales reaching 1,036 units, while the discontinued Dodge Journey continued to attract buyers with 795 units sold. The Dodge Challenger also saw a significant increase in sales, marking a 33% rise compared to March 2023, showcasing the enduring appeal of this iconic model.

FIAT – 

2024 Fiat Fastback Impetus. (FIAT).

FIAT made headlines in March with its best-ever month in sales, totaling 1,414 units. The success was fueled by a diverse lineup, including the Fiat Pulse, Fiat Argo, Fiat Mobi, and Fiat Fastback, which collectively captured the attention of consumers across Mexico. Notably, the Fiat Pulse made a strong impression with 394 units sold, reflecting its appeal as a stylish and versatile option in the market.

Jeep® – 

2024 Jeep® Renegade Trailhawk. (Jeep).

Jeep® continued to demonstrate its dominance in the Mexican SUV scene, with sales totaling 1,767 units in March, representing a remarkable 44% growth compared to the previous year. The Jeep Compass led the charge with its best-ever sales performance, selling 577 units, while the Jeep Renegade saw a significant increase in sales, reaching 510 units. The enduring popularity of models like the Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Grand Cherokee further reinforced the brand’s position as a leader in the SUV segment.

Peugeot – 

Peugeot 2008 GT. (Peugeot).

Peugeot achieved unprecedented success in March, recording its best-ever month in sales with a total of 1,618 units sold. The Peugeot Expert led the charge with its best-ever sales performance, showcasing the brand’s commitment to delivering high-quality and innovative vehicles to consumers. Additionally, models like the Peugeot 2008, Peugeot 3008, and Peugeot Partner each experienced their best-ever March in sales, further highlighting the brand’s appeal among discerning customers.

They don’t need the Hornet. The have the Ram 700. Yup, totally different vehicle, but I bet there is more demand. Ram USA could use smaller Ram (the Rampage and/or this) sooner rather than later.
Did I read the new Journey has been discontinued already? Thought it was doing well south of the boarder? The 2024 is on Dodge Mexico website. Anyone with more info?
Btw, who had the bright idea to do this story in black lettering with a dark gray background? 🤨
