Stellantis Extends Employee Pricing for Everyone Through June 2nd

Big Discounts and Bigger Opportunity as Tariffs Shake Up the Car Market

In a bold move to keep sales humming during one of the most uncertain times in the auto industry, Stellantis— is extending its popular Employee Pricing for Everyone program through June 2, 2025. The discount initiative, which first kicked off under the name “Freedom of Choice,” lets everyday buyers pay what Stellantis employees pay, no negotiating required.

Originally set to expire at the end of April, the program has now been extended another month. But this time, there’s a twist: the employee pricing can now stack with select other incentives. That means buyers could walk into a dealership and combine Stellantis’ steepest discounts — a rare move in today’s pricing climate.

There are a few exceptions — certain models and trims are excluded, and the offer doesn’t apply to fleet customers — but for most shoppers, the savings are substantial.

The extension comes on the heels of Ford’s announcement that it, too, would keep its employee pricing deals going through the July 4th weekend. Both automakers launched patriotic ad campaigns this spring, aimed at rallying buyers around American-built vehicles and offsetting consumer hesitation after President Donald Trump’s 25% tariff on imported vehicles took effect in early April.

Dealers say the strategy is working.

“We’ve definitely seen an uptick in showroom traffic,” said Mike Bettenhausen, who runs two CDJR stores in the Chicago suburbs and chairs Stellantis’ national dealer council. “April was actually a very positive month considering the tariff situation. We saw sales jump well above last year’s numbers.”

Stellantis, like many automakers, has battled falling U.S. sales. The company reported a 12% drop year-over-year in Q1, due in part to supply issues, shifting market demand, and now, rising costs tied to the import tariffs. But despite those hurdles, Stellantis sees a “huge opportunity” to grab market share while others scale back or raise prices.

“Automakers and dealers are seeing this as an opportune time to make a grab for market share,” said Erin Keating of Cox Automotive earlier this week. “Even those anticipating cost impacts recognize the moment as a chance to take advantage of the froth in the market.”

And right now, Stellantis is doing exactly that — combining aggressive discounts, patriotic branding, and real-time market urgency to give American car buyers one of the best deals they’ve seen all year.

If you’ve been eyeing a new Ram 1500, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Dodge Hornet, or Chrysler Pacifica, this might be the time to head to the dealership — and pay what the employees pay.
