SPOTTED: North American 2019 Jeep Renegade Latitude:
The New Upgraded Mid-Level Renegade Out On The Streets...
While Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) recently unveiled the North American 2019 Jeep Renegade models, only the Limited (which started production last month) and the Trailhawk (which started production Monday) are available thus far. The Jeep brand is still running the 2018 Sport and Latitude models until November 26th. November 27th will be the first production day for the 2019 Renegade Sport and Latitude models for North America.
The 2019 Jeep Renegade Latitude receives the upgraded front and rear fascia updates, like its Limited brother. While halogen lighting is standard on the Latitude for 2019, LED Lighting Package for all exterior lighting (Head Lights, Fog Lamps, DRL, and Tail Lamps) is optional on the Latitude model.
The 2.4-liter Tigershark inline four-cylinder (which was the top-tier powertrain in the 2015 to 2018 Renegade) is now standard in the Renegade Latitude models. Latitude also gets a standard 9-speed automatic transmission, Electronic Stop Start (ESS) system and will receive Active Grille Shutters to improve economy.
The all-new 1.3-liter direct-injection turbocharged engine with engine stop-start (ESS) technology that increases fuel efficiency and reduces emissions that is now standard on Limited and Trailhawk models, is optional Latitude and provides 177 horsepower and 200 lb.-ft. of torque.
