SPOTTED: Jeep® Gladiator Sport S With New Sport Performance Hood:
Mojave's New Hood, Shows Up On Latest Prototype...
There is a lot of interesting things coming in the pipeline from the Jeep® brand. Over the past year, we have seen mules of the upcoming Jeep Wagoneer, prototypes of the next-generation Jeep Grand Cherokee, and the introduction of several new models of the current lineup. One of those new models is the first “Desert Rated” model from the off-road brand – Jeep Gladiator Mojave.
One of the most talked-about features on the Gladiator Mojave has to be its new heavy-duty performance hood with center scoop. A lot of people have been questioning if the new hood design will be available on the rest of the Gladiator lineup, or even its off-road Wrangler sibling. Well, our spy photographers have caught, what appears to be a Jeep Gladiator Sport S model with what appears to be a European Overland bumper and the Mojave’s performance hood.
We would be surprised if Jeep doesn’t make the new design available on other models across the Gladiator’s lineup. The new performance hood with its bold center scoop definitely gives the Gladiator Mojave an aggressive look on the street as shown in our most recent shots of the truck.
As the 2020 model year continues on, it seems that Jeep is following Ram’s lead on continuing to add more equipment to its pickup lineup throughout the year. Most recently, the Jeep brand has added a new premium trim to the lineup with the High Altitude. Jeep has also announced to its dealer body, that it will be offering two new “Truck of the Year” packages, one for the Sport S and the other for the Overland which features added content at a discounted rate.
Nevertheless, the Gladiator continues to showcase it can be a true player in the midsize pickup segment. Hopefully, Jeep continues to offer more features like the performance hood in the rest of its Gladiator lineup.
