Select HEMI Engines To Return On 2025 Dodge Durango

The current Dodge Durango (WD) has been in production since December 2010. Despite being in production for the past 13-plus years, the Durango has continued to be a strong seller thanks to two successful updates, amazing towing capability, three-row flexibility, and its line of HEMI® V8 engines.

During the recent United Auto Workers (UAW) contracts, we learned that Stellantis plans to replace the current generation with an all-new model for the 2026 model year. However, until then, Dodge will continue to push the current HEMI Durango models.

According to our sources, Dodge will continue to produce the Durango with a 5.7-liter (345 cubic-inch) HEMI® V8 and the supercharged 6.2-liter (376 cubic-inch) HEMI® HELLCAT V8. With that being said, Dodge has already announced that the 6.4-liter (392 cubic-inch) HEMI® SRT V8 will come to an end later this year, with the introduction of the Durango SRT392 AlcHEMI “Last Call” model.

Our sources say that the HELLCAT model for 2025 will be produced in very limited numbers with a special “Last Call” model highlighting the end of the Durango SRT HELLCAT. There is also word about a Durango R/T special edition “Last Call” model to join the HELLCAT.

As for the Durango Pursuit (Enforcer), Dodge will continue to produce HEMI Durango variants of its law enforcement SUV until the end of production.

So if you are looking to get your hands on one of the last HELLCAT models produced, you might want to start saving for the final run of the 710 horsepower Dodge Durango SRT HELLCAT, which we are told will kick off production sometime in late 2024.
