A 74% Growth Marks a Historic Milestone for the Brand...

Ram Trucks celebrated a historic year in Brazil, with 2024 becoming the brand’s most successful year since its arrival there. Approximately 30,000 units were sold, marking an extraordinary 74% increase compared to 2023, which had previously held the sales record. December’s performance capped off the year with a 12.6% increase in sales compared to November.

“The year 2024 not only exceeded our expectations but also marked 15 years of Ram as an independent brand in Brazil,” said Juliano Machado, Vice President of Ram for South America. “With new models like the 2025 Ram 1500 and the introduction of the Big Horn version of the Rampage, we’ve expanded our portfolio and reached even more customers.”

The Ram Rampage was the star of the lineup, with over 23,600 units sold in 2024—a massive 174% increase over 2023. Equipped with a new 2.2-liter turbodiesel engine producing 200 horsepower (149 kW) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque, the Rampage offered exceptional power and efficiency. The addition of the Big Horn trim made the model even more accessible to buyers seeking premium features. Recognized for its excellence, the Rampage earned 12 awards from top automotive publications, including Estadão Mobility and Quatro Rodas.

The Ram 1500 also enjoyed significant updates in 2024. Now powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter Hurricane I6 standard-output (S/O) engine producing 426 horsepower (318 kW) and 635 Nm (468 lb-ft) of torque, the truck accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 5.3 seconds, maintaining its title as Brazil’s fastest pickup. Additional features such as a 14.5-inch Uconnect 5 multimedia screen, selectable driving modes, and a remote-controlled electric tailgate enhanced its appeal. Special editions like the Rampage Rebel Ignition and 2500 Rodeo Edition further solidified Ram’s position as a leader in the market.

In 2024, Ram expanded its footprint with new Ram House stores in Florianópolis and Recife, bringing its total to five locations across Brazil. These luxury retail spaces and a growing product lineup highlight Ram’s commitment to innovation, performance, and customer satisfaction in the Brazilian market.

There is that name again, RAMPAGE!!! There needs to be N.A. updated version to meet our standards. It should have been ready to go when the Classic 1500 ended production. Shame on them for not having a North American version. I would bet it would be a hot seller here in the US and Canada. Stellantis still does not get it.
