Ram Rampage Surpasses 50,000 Units Sold In Brazil

Compact Pickup Continues To Dominate Two Years After Launch

Ram’s compact unibody pickup, the Rampage, just crossed a significant milestone — 50,000 units sold since its launch in Brazil two years ago. While that number may not sound massive by U.S. market standards, it’s a big win for Ram in South America, where the Rampage has carved out a strong position as a premium contender in the midsize and compact truck segments.

Developed and built entirely in Brazil, the Rampage was the first Ram ever engineered outside North America. Designed specifically for Latin American roads and lifestyles, it combines Ram’s truck DNA with modern refinement and practicality. The lineup currently includes four versions: Big Horn, Rebel, Laramie, and R/T.

The Big Horn, Rebel, and Laramie trims are powered by a 2.2-liter Multijet II I4 turbodiesel engine that produces 200 horsepower and 332 lb-ft (45.9 kgfm) of torque. The diesel engine is paired with a ZF-sourced nine-speed automatic transmission and features a full-time 4×4 Auto system. Meanwhile, the R/T trim caters to performance enthusiasts with its turbocharged 2.0-liter Hurricane4 I4 gasoline engine from Stellantis’ Global Medium Engine family. Delivering 272 horsepower and 295 lb-ft (40.7 kgfm) of torque, the R/T offers the punchiest performance in the lineup.

For 2026, the Rampage Rebel, Laramie, and R/T trims will add Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), providing drivers with enhanced safety and semi-autonomous functionality — features typically found in higher-end vehicles. Across all trims, the Rampage remains fully connected, and collectively, the 50,000 trucks on the road have logged more than 1 billion kilometers (621 million miles) throughout Brazil.

The Rampage has also become a media darling, earning 25 industry awards since launch. Among them are recognitions from UOL Carros, AutoData, Quatro Rodas, and Mobilidade Estadão. Its most recent title, “Best Reseller,” was awarded by Quatro Rodas and Mobiauto, cementing its reputation for substantial resale value and consumer satisfaction.

Adding to its appeal are limited-edition models that celebrate milestones and partnerships. In 2024, Ram released the Rebel Ignition Edition, inspired by the Ram 1500 TRX Ignition, and limited to just 150 units, finished in the exclusive Orange Ignition color. Another standout was the R/T NFL Edition, created to mark Ram’s partnership with the National Football League, making it the first special-edition pickup ever officially tied to the NFL.

With strong sales momentum, expanding features, and continued customer enthusiasm, the Ram Rampage proves that Ram’s playbook for success extends well beyond North America.
