Ram Pushes Back ‘Revolution’ Concept Unveiling To CES 2023 In January!

New Teaser Image, Makes Concept Look More Civilized...

Ram has officially announced that it will indeed push back the unveiling of its new Ram 1500 Revolution battery-electric vehicle (BEV) Concept to January. Originally scheduled to make its official debut sometime this month, the American pickup manufacturer announced instead, that the truck will be unveiled at the world’s most influential tech event: CES 2023.

The unveiling is now scheduled for Tuesday, January 5th, 2023, and seems like a proper place to show off the brand’s first all-electric pickup truck offering.

Ram said the Revolution Concept will be loaded with exclusive advanced technology features.

The truck will prove to be a roadmap and glimpse into the future, showing how Ram will once again define the pickup truck segment. The move towards electrification supports Stellantis’ Dare Forward 2030 strategic plan, to lead the way the world moves by delivering innovative, clean, safe, and affordable mobility solutions.

Ram will offer electrified solutions in the majority of its segments by 2025, and all of its segments no later than 2030. Vehicles like the Ram 1500 BEV and Range Electric Paradigm Breaker (REPB) will debut in 2024. Ram says they are focused on solutions to address what customers care about the most: range, towing, payload, and charge time.

With today’s announcement, Ram also gave us another teaser image of the side profile of the Revolution Concept. This time, the lighting provides us with a better look at the Revolution, which doesn’t look as extreme as earlier teaser images did. Looking closely, we see that the Revolution will be more of an evolution of the current Ram 1500 (DT) styling.

In recent days, our spy photographers caught a prototype of the new Ram 1500 BEV testing near the Company’s Auburn Hills, Michigan campus. The new electrified pickup will use the new STLA Frame architecture (an evolution of the current DT architecture) and will adopt an independent rear suspension (IRS) setup from the new Wagoneer/Grand Wagoneer.
