The 2023 Ram 700 Longhorn boasts a sleek and aggressive front grille in Black, featuring a Silver “R-A-M” emblem and a honeycomb design that optimizes engine performance. The front lighting is fully equipped with LED lights, providing a better quality of light with lower heat intensity and higher luminous intensity, ultimately enhacing visability in low-light conditions for the driver.

Additionally, the 2023 Ram 700 Longhorn offers aluminum rims, side steps, and exclusive Longhorn emblems.

The 2023 Ram 700 Longhorn offers exclusive interior content such as automatic climate controls, a 7-inch Uconnect touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Black and Brown leather seats with Brown stitching and “Longhorn” logos embroidered into them.

The subcompact truck includes a tire pressure monitoring system, a reverse sensor system, and a reverse camera for enhanced safety during maneuvers. There is even a wireless charging system for smartphones.

Powertrain –

The Ram 700 Longhorn is equipped with the naturally-aspirated 1.3-liter FIREFLY inline-four-cylinder engine sourced from the Stellantis Global Small Engine (GSE) family. While the subcompact pickup generates 100 horsepower and 99 lb.-ft. of torque, it prioritizes excellent fuel economy and lower emissions over raw power.

The Longhorn Version features a CVT automatic transmission known for its exceptional capacity to smoothly and seamlessly adjust to both upward and downward speed changes, providing the driver with an imperceptible driving experience.

The vehicle provides a 4×2 front-wheel drive (FWD) system that enhances performance and fuel efficiency by immediately connecting the traction wheels to the powertrain. This is achieved by reducing the weight of mechanical components and maximizing energy utilization without transferring it to a greater number of components separated from the differential.

Suspension –

The front and rear suspension of the vehicle have been carefully adjusted to ensure both durability and safety of each component. A set of springs, shock absorbers, axles, bars, and suspension links work in tandem to optimize the vehicle’s performance even when under a full load, offering both safety and comfort to the passengers inside the cabin.

The McPherson front suspension comprises independent wheels, dual-acting telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers, helical springs, and a stabilizer bar, which have been specifically dimensioned and calibrated to offer robustness and durability for the type of body, application, and gross weight of the vehicle.

On the other hand, the rigid axle rear suspension incorporates dual-acting hydraulic shock absorbers and longitudinal parabolic springs, which balance loads and body forces, providing stability to the rear axle when the vehicle is fully loaded or empty.

Traction Control (TC+) –

The Ram 700 comes equipped with the Traction Control Plus (TC+) electronic locking differential system, which has been calibrated to provide more aggressive traction control in light off-road driving conditions. This system enhances maneuverability by preventing the front wheel without traction from sliding and instead applies the necessary torque individually from the differential to the wheel with traction, thereby allowing the vehicle to overcome obstacles on the road, such as sand, loose earth, mud, gravel, or layers of ice.

To activate the TC+ system, the driver can press the button located on the center board at any time. However, the system will be automatically deactivated when the vehicle exceeds a speed of 65 km/h (40 mph).

Safety –

The 2023 Ram 700 features ABS front ventilated disc brakes and rear drum brakes with an electronic braking distribution system (EBD), which balances the sliding of the wheels from front to back during braking conditions, promoting control and stability of the steering of the vehicle. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with front safety belts with pre-tensioner and rear seat belts, including the central seat belt, which features a reel-type mechanism.

To further enhance safety, the Ram 700 has slope start assistance, a Traction Control System (TC), a Stability Control System (ESC), front airbags, side airbags, and an ISOFIX Children’s Seat Anchoring System. These features provide additional protection for passengers and ensure a secure driving experience.

Cost –
