Ram, the American truck brand, has achieved a historic milestone in Brazil. For the first time since the brand’s debut in the country, Ram has sold over 1,000 units in a single month. In March 2023, Ram sold 1,171 units, which helped to make the brand second in the premium segment in the first quarter (Q1). These numbers were reported in the Fenabrave survey.
The survey showed a growth of 519% in the pickup truck segment, with a total of 2,433 units registered. Ram’s success is attributed to the performance of its four models, which made it into the top 10 premium vehicles for the second consecutive month. The Ram 3500 topped this ranking with 553 units sold, accumulating a total of 1,062 sales so far this year.
Another highlight of March was the Ram 1500 Classic (DS), which secured the fourth position with 251 registrations. The Ram 2500 (DJ) and Ram 1500 (DT) completed the list, occupying the ninth and tenth positions with 191 and 175 units sold respectively.
Ram’s performance in Brazil has been exceptional, with its four models commanding a significant portion of the premium segment. The brand’s success is due to its commitment to innovation, performance, and quality. With its current trajectory, Ram is poised to continue dominating the premium segment in Brazil, this will be reinforced with the introduction of a new monoblock pickup in the upcoming months.
