Ram Brazil ended its 2022 year with another record-breaking month, proving that the Ram continues to offer the strongest, most technological, most luxurious, and most capable pickup trucks in the Brazilian marketplace.
Due to the price of its vehicles, the American pickup manufacturer is considered a premium automaker in the Brazilian market. Last month, Ram ended up selling 5,056 units leaving the brand as the third-best-selling premium automaker in the country. That number was an increase of 83% over the same time last year.
After being launched at the end of March 2022, the 2022 Ram 3500 Laramie and Limited Longhorn models quickly became the best-selling vehicle in the Ram Brazil portfolio. The 1-ton pickup closed out the year with 2,201 units sold for the year, making it the third best-selling vehicle in the country for 2022.
The month of December also shattered sales records for the brand. Ram manage to sell 1,005 units a huge boost over November’s record of 720 vehicles. Of those 1,005 units, 451 of them were Ram 3500s.
Analyzing only the results of the last month of 2022, Ram scored 1,005 units, largely surpassing the brand’s previous monthly record of last November (720). The Ram 3500 made 451 plates, being also the best month of the pickup.
At the end of the year, the Ram 1500 Rebel was the ninth best-selling premium vehicle in the country with 1,251 units sold (up 134.7% over 2021’s number), the Ram 2500 sold 1,048 units, and the Ram 1500 Classic despite having its first deliveries in October, accounted for 552 units of the brand’s total for 2022.
