NHTSA Opens Investigation Looking Into 2017 & 2018 Ram 2500/3500 Trucks!

For An Issue Involving Braking Power...

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has launched a probe involving approximately 390,000 Ram 2500/3500 Heavy Duty pickups.

2018 Ram 2500 Limited Crew Cab 4×4. (Ram).

The models in question involve vehicles built in the 2017 and 2018 model year for an issue with braking power.

According to the NHTSA, there have been 134 complaints issued about those Heavy Duty pickups having intermittent or permanent loss of braking performance.

2018 Ram 2500 Limited Tungsten Edition. (Ram).

Reports have said that replacing the Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) module and Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) has appeared to correct the issue.

Now keep in mind that this is only an investigation by the NHTSA and NOT a recall.
