Building on the success of its predecessor, the iconic Fiat 600 from the 1950s, renowned for its practicality as a family mover, the new Fiat 600e firmly establishes itself in the heart of the rapidly growing B-segment market.

The Fiat 600e is the perfect solution for city enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers alike, capturing the essence of Italian style and sustainability. It embodies both elegance and functionality, measuring 164 inches in length and providing comfortable roominess for five occupants. The front storage space is best in class, and the vehicle boasts an electric range of over 248 miles on the WLTP combined cycle, making it ideal for daily city commuting and weekend getaways. The Fiat 600e also incorporates advanced safety features to ensure peace of mind on the road.

This model is available in two fully-electric versions: the Fiat 600e La Prima and the Fiat 600e (RED). It is a family-friendly solution that allows for an authentic Italian Dolce Vita experience while prioritizing the environment and contributing to social causes.

The Fiat 600e is a 5-door vehicle with impressive interior space with five seats and 15 liters of storage capacity. In terms of electric capability, the Fiat 600e is equipped with a 54 kWh lithium-ion battery, providing a range of over 248 miles on the WLTP combined cycle and over 372 miles in urban environments on the WLTP urban cycle. Charging time is optimized through a 100 kW fast charger system, allowing for a quick charge of up to 80% in less than half an hour. Additionally, the model features an 11 kW On Board Charger and a Mode 3 cable for home or public charging, ensuring a full charge in under six hours. The vehicle’s engine delivers an output of 115 kW, enabling acceleration from 0-60 mph in just 9.0 seconds. Three driving modes—eco, normal, and sport—are available, allowing customers to tailor their driving experience to their preferences.

The Fiat 600e is not only iconic on the outside but also embraces the Dolce Vita philosophy on the inside. Its exterior and interior design perfectly encapsulate Italian beauty and style. Compared to the Fiat 500e, the Fiat 600e features a more assertive face, refreshed 600-chrome signature elements on the front and sides, and an updated LED lighting identity. The elegant and dynamic exterior design is enhanced by larger wheels, up to 18 inches in diameter, black matt skirts, and wheel arches. Italian flair is evident in the rear bumper’s Italian flag design, while glossy black details, chrome accents, and shining cues on the rear lights further highlight the vehicle’s exterior lines.

The driver’s seat, which can be adjusted electrically, includes a back-massage function for added relaxation during long journeys or after a busy day at work. The seats are upholstered in ivory synthetic leather with the FIAT monogram and turquoise accents, providing a premium feel. The three-stage heating ensures maximum comfort, and additional features such as velour floor mats, 40/60 rear seats, second-row USB Type A & Type C + Type C, a wireless smartphone charger, and keyless entry with a proximity sensor contribute to the overall comfort and pleasure of the driving experience.

Additional technologies such as the Stop & Go function, Electric Parking Brake, Autonomous Emergency Braking, and Drowsy Driver Detection further enhance the vehicle’s safety profile. Including 360° sensors and a 180° rear-view camera with dynamic gridlines simplify parking and complex maneuvers, preventing potential obstacles.

Impressive vehicle. It will be a hot item in Italy and other European markets.
Still believe Fiat can find a market in North America if the vehicles are positioned effectively in this market. In North America, size matters. Keep plugging (pun intended) Fiat, your electrification portfolio may just be the formula to spark interest.

I agree the vehicle has a good position, I'm not sure I'm aligned on the styling fitting in N.A. Interior and exterior just does not seem to land with N.A. tastes and FIAT is not strong enough to adjust those tastes (like the PT Cruiser did) . If you slapped a Chrysler clip and style cues on it, it likely would sell 2x, but still underperform due to the exterior (the interiors have become closer to N.A. expectations and is not as polarizing as before).

Anyone know if a CDJR will service a 500X (knowing it's a sibling to the Renegade)?

The Americans looking for a battery electric city car have styling tastes preferring that Fiat heritage style. The last thing the Chrysler brand needs is a B-segment city car with a battery electric powertrain. What is the Chrysler brand's styling these days? Does anybody know? From the concepts I've seen touring this years auto-show circuit, the people in Auburn Hills don't know either.

If the Chrysler brand wants to survive it needs something waiting in the wings like the Mazda CX-90, or the Lexus TX 3-rows. I don't see anything. Both of the models I mentioned have a six cylinder plugin hybrid option, while the Stellantis bosses have decried the Chrysler brand is all in on battery electric. From the FCA side in the Stellantis universe only Fiat can get away with going all in with BEV.

I'm not saying the legacy FCA brands shouldn't offer battery electric vehicles. After all there are states which have adopted the California rules. There are more states which didn't and they are the ones which aren't imploding.

I hope you're right, Bill
