Jeep® & Mopar Tease Its Newest Jeep Performance Parts (JPP) Concept Going To Moab!

New Open-Air Jeep Will Make Its Debut At Moab Easter Jeep Safari...

Another week, another teaser. Earlier this morning, the Jeep® and Mopar brands dropped their fifth teaser (sixth vehicle) image for another new concept vehicle for the annual Moab Easter Jeep Safari. Usually, both brands will release a plethora of teaser images of their intended concept vehicles for the event in the red rock region. However, this year they have decided to release an image every week and spread out the excitement leading up to the event.

This week, it appears that the Jeep® Performance Parts (JPP) catalog of accessories will be the center focus of this latest concept. Based on a Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 4xe, this concept appears to have ditched its roof and put an Overlanding rack over the passenger compartment.

The image was released with the quote, “Pushing Jeep open-air freedom to the extreme, this concept carries the latest custom innovations from Jeep Performance Parts and Mopar, while standing ready to prove its legendary 4×4 capability and class-exclusive, off-road 4xe plug-in hybrid power on some of the toughest trails in the world.”

While the image doesn’t give many details away, we can take a good guess from the pattern of JPP concepts that have come from years past. Those items might include JPP LED lightbars, JPP 17-inch Beadlock wheels wrapped around 37-inch off-road tires, and a JPP 2-inch lift kit (all three things have become a staple of most JPP concepts over the past 5 years).

The first two sketches, released on February 25th, showed a concept based on the all-new electrified 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe (WL74) and the Gladiator midsize pickup (JT). The third sketch was released a week later and appeared to be a 2023 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 392 20th Anniversary Edition. Then we got another image featuring another concept blending elements of both a Wrangler Unlimited and a Gladiator pickup. The fifth vehicle we were teased with was a military-based Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 4xe model, set with a Military Green and Tan paint scheme, a set of steel wheels with aggressive off-road tires, and Willy’s Military-inspired decals. We can also see a Willys Jeep Easter egg on the center caps for the wheels as well.

The Moab Easter Jeep Safari kicks off on Saturday, April 9th, 2022, and will go on until Sunday, April 17th, 2022. Stay tuned as we will continue to bring you more coverage of the new Jeep and Mopar concepts, as they become available.
