Both ICE and Electric Variants Will Be Available...
Maserati is set to officially reveal its new 2025 GranCabrio on Thursday, February 29th. The GranCabrio, a convertible version of the new GranTurismo, represents a significant evolution in the luxury convertible segment.
The new 2025 Maserati GranCabrio stands out thanks to its sleek and athletic profile, a departure from the former generation’s edgy and aggressive looks. The car will retain much of the GranTurismo’s look and feature 20-inch to 21-inch wheel options, new technology, and two unique powertrains.
Inside, customers can expect an interior that features more high-end materials and modern technologies. There is a new 12.2-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, and a lower 8.8-inch display. Other features like a heads-up display (HUD), digital rear-view mirror, and a multifunctional digital clock.
Under the hood, the GranCabrio will feature a choice of internal combustion engine (ICE) or battery-electric (BEV) options.

For those who love traditional ICE engines, there is the twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter NETTUNO V6. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel-drive (AWD). In the entry-level, the Modena, the NETTUNO will produce 490 horsepower and 442 lb.-ft. (600 Nm) of torque. This will allow the Modena to have a 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 97 mph) time of 3.9 seconds and a top speed of 187 mph (302 km/h).
If you are looking for more power, there is the Trofeo model. The Trofeo boosts the output of NETTUNO to 550 horsepower and 478 lb.-ft. (650 Nm) of torque. The higher output pushes the GranCabrio to have a 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 97 mph) time of 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 199 mph (320 km/h).
A new all-electric GranCabrio Folgore model will join the lineup. Thanks to a three e-motor setup, the Folgore produces 761 horsepower and 996 lb.-ft (1,350 Nm) of torque. The new electric powertrain will push the Folgore to a 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 97 mph) time of 2.7 seconds and a top speed of 202 mph (325 km/h).
The 92.5 kWh battery promises a maximum range of 280 miles (450 km), according to the WLTP cycle on a single charge. Thanks to 270 kW DC fast charging, the Folgore is expected to add 62 miles (100 km) of range in 5 minutes.
Sources have indicated that the Maserati GranCabrio will start around $158,000 (€145,960.42). Stop back on February 29th to see more details.
