Focused On Bold Electrification & Sustainable Growth...

In a bid to redefine the future of luxury mobility, Maserati has unveiled a bold commitment to a 100% engineered and made-in-Italy strategic plan. As the first Italian luxury brand to plunge into the realm of all-electric vehicles, Maserati is steering towards a sustainable, long-term, and profitable growth plan with a focus on consistent brand and product evolution.

The heart of Maserati, nestled in Modena at the historic plant on Viale Ciro Menotti, continues to beat strongly after more than 80 years. It’s here that the entire Maserati range, designed, developed, and manufactured, serves over 70 countries globally, with an impressive 86% export rate. Davide Grasso, Maserati CEO, expresses the brand’s commitment, stating, “With our long-term strategic vision and plan, we want to make a mark in the luxury world with unique Italian manufacturing excellence.”

Maserati’s foray into the electric future is marked by the introduction of its first two Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs), the GranTurismo Folgore and Grecale Folgore. These vehicles, now available in Italy and the EU markets, showcase cutting-edge technical solutions derived from the world of Formula E, a testament to Maserati’s roots in motorsport and pure competition.

Maserati is not just embracing electric vehicles; it’s taking the competition to the next level by becoming the first Italian brand to participate in Formula E from 2023 onwards. With motorsport ingrained in its genes, Maserati is not only developing electric road cars but also pushing the limits in the high-performance racing circuit.

The commitment to an electric future doesn’t end with the current BEV lineup. Maserati has an ambitious product plan for electrification, including the launch of the GranCabrio Folgore this year, the MC20 Folgore in 2025, a large E-UV BEV in 2027, and the next generation of Quattroporte BEV in 2028. The brand is resolute in maintaining its unique positioning in the luxury segment.

Maserati’s Modena plant is not just a manufacturing hub; it’s an Atelier of the Fuoriserie Personalization Program, where bespoke Maserati models are created. The company is investing in new facilities and specialized training for staff working on this program, ensuring that each Maserati remains a unique piece of automotive art.

As part of the Stellantis “Dare Forward 2030” strategic plan, Maserati is fully integrated into the organization matrix. All new Maserati models will adopt electric powertrains, embodying innovation and high performance, quintessential to Maserati’s DNA.

Grasso affirms the brand’s commitment, “We will offer our preferred customers the most powerful Maseratis ever, pushing the boundaries of driving pleasure to a new era.” With a vision set firmly on an electric future, Maserati is not just evolving; it’s accelerating towards a new era of luxury and innovation, keeping the Trident’s values at its core.
