Mark Pawuk Gets First NHRA Flexjet Factory Stock Victory

In a stunning performance at the NHRA Midwest Nationals at World Wide Technology Raceway, Mark Pawuk and his Empaco Equipment Dodge Challenger Drag Pak team clinched their inaugural Flexjet Factory Stock Showdown victory. Pawuk, who entered the eliminations as the No. 1 qualifier, not only claimed the title but also set a new national elapsed time record of 7.583 seconds, solidifying his dominance on the track.

Pawuk’s triumph came after a thrilling showdown with the previous event winner, Aaron Stanfield. The victory earned Pawuk a well-deserved $1,000 in the Flexjet Factory Stock Showdown Bounty Program. In the finals, he faced off against Stephen Bell and his formidable Stanfield Racing Engines Chevrolet COPO Camaro. Pawuk took an early lead and maintained it throughout, achieving an impressive 7.638-second pass at 180.89 mph, outshining Bell’s 7.651 at 179.47.

Reflecting on his victory, Pawuk expressed his gratitude for the entire team and the relentless efforts of David Barton in shaping the program. He credited their collective dedication for their exceptional performance. Pawuk’s journey to the finals included notable wins against Connor Statler and Del Holbrook, showcasing his unwavering determination and skill on the track.

Pawuk’s pivotal moment of the day came in the second round, where he secured a crucial victory and established the new national record with a blistering 7.583-second pass at 182.03 mph. This feat demonstrated the remarkable progress of Pawuk’s hot rod, a testament to the collaborative efforts of Ray Barton Racing Engines, David Barton, and his son Kyle.

Pawuk faced off against points leader and bounty holder Aaron Stanfield in the semifinals in a highly anticipated match-up. Pawuk’s exceptional 7.665 at 180.38 surpassed Stanfield’s 7.688 at 178.61, further cementing his dominance in the competition.

Pawuk quickly acknowledged the support of Flexjet in their commitment to the class. The Flexjet Factory Stock Showdown promises to continue its thrilling competition in the upcoming NHRA Texas Fall Nationals at the Texas Motorplex in Ennis, Texas, from October 12th through 15th.

However,new cars will be stuck with some kind of GLOBAL TROPICAL CYCLONE,TURDNADO 6CYLINDER, TURBOCHARGED,UNRECOGNIZABLE,STELLAINTY ENGINE, GOOD LUCK AND GOOD BY,I HAVE ENOUGH OLD B,RB ENGINES AND CUMMINS PICKUPS UNTIL I FALL OFF THE STICK. What's gonna happen when the majority of folks plug in their golf carts for another commute to the factory and the already weak power grid causes a brown our or blackout in your favorite Mayberry because none of the infrastructures have been updated! I Love the earth, but we've cutting our throats along time ago. When the last forest or wilderness is mowed down for all that concrete and we have a week's worth of oxygen in the atmosphere, shallow breaths are the public service announcements!
