Kelley Blue Book Names The Dodge Brand As The "Best Car Styling Brand" For 2022!

The Kelley Blue Book (KBB) Brand Image Awards recognize automakers’ outstanding achievements in shaping and maintaining brand attributes that capture the attention and enthusiasm of the new-vehicle buying public. Award categories are calculated among luxury, non-luxury, and truck shoppers. Dodge has earned the “Best Car Styling Brand” award for the fourth consecutive year.

“Kelley Blue Book Brand Image Award winners lead the pack when it comes to capturing new-car shoppers’ attention,” said Vanessa Ton, Senior Industry Intelligence Manager for Kelley Blue Book. “As more automotive brands and new models arrive on the scene each year, the increasingly crowded marketplace provides fresh challenges for product designers and planners and marketers alike. Dodge has no problem in the capturing attention department, with styling that expresses the legendary Dodge performance attitude straight from the factory. The brand’s pure performance image helped drive Dodge Challenger to the No. 1 spot in muscle car total sales in the U.S. in 2021, giving the brand its first-ever crown in the segment.

For 2022, Dodge continues to deliver its high-impact performance models and appearance packages. This includes the new 2022 Dodge Challenger and Charger SRT Jailbreak models. The new “Jailbreak” models unlock color-combination ordering restrictions and add new factory-custom options to deliver enthusiasts the freedom to create their ultimate Hellcat Redeye Widebody to fit their individual personalities.

There is also the introduction of the new HEMI® Orange and SRT Black appearance packages.

The HEMI Orange Appearance Package is available on GT RWD and Scat Pack Widebody models for both Charger and Challenger. That’s right, Dodge is even letting the V6 performance model into the action, too. The package pays homage to the iconic HEMI engine (the 426 HEMI) that powered Dodge muscle cars during the late-1960s and early-1970s. The HEMI Orange Appearance Package creates a unique, orange-and-black combination of accents that transform both exterior and interior.

Returning for the 2022 model year, the SRT Black Appearance Package is back! Besides being offered on the Durango SRT392, the option of blacked-out exterior badging and accents will also be shared with the Charger and Challenger SRT offerings. This includes the 807 horsepower 2022 Dodge Challenger SRT Super Stock.
