Jeep® has announced two new ordering packages for its popular Grand Cherokee (WL) lineup, and dealers have already been informed about them. The new options will be available across the Grand Cherokee portfolio, and they are sure to excite SUV enthusiasts.
Laredo X –
The Grand Cherokee Laredo is already a well-loved trim for the model, thanks to its exquisite design, spacious interior, and advanced technologies. Now, the Laredo X package will add more features to the base model. Two-door models will receive 18-inch fully-painted aluminum wheels, while all models will feature a single-pane sunroof.
The Altitude Package, on the other hand, adds black gloss exterior accents, including 20-inch gloss black aluminum wheels, roof rails, and a unique seven-slot grille. The Altitude Package also includes functional features such as remote start, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, wireless charging pad, adjustable height liftgate, rain-sensing wipers, 115-volt power outlet, and third-row USB ports (on Grand Cherokee L three-row models).
Altitude X –
For those who want the best of both worlds, Jeep is offering the Altitude X package. This package combines the popular blacked-out Altitude Package with the single-pane sunroof, adding even more value and style to an already excellent SUV.
The Grand Cherokee Laredo and Altitude models offers a luxurious and comfortable interior, class-leading legroom in the second row, while three-row models have increased cargo volume, and class-leading third-row capacity. All Grand Cherokee models come equipped with standard safety and security features such as full-speed collision warning with active brake and pedestrian/cyclist detection, rear cross-path detection, adaptive cruise control, active lane management, lane departure warning, advanced brake assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear park assist sensors, and more.
Under the hood, the Grand Cherokee Laredo X and Altitude X will be powered by a standard 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine with 290 horsepower and 257 lb.-ft. of torque paired with the standard TorqueFlite 8-speed transmission. The SUV also comes with standard heated fold-away mirrors with heating elements and blind spot indicators, cloth seats with a power 8-way driver and manual front-passenger with driver lumbar adjuster, automatic dual-zone automatic temperature controls, leather-wrapped heated steering wheel with audio control and paddle shifters, and integrated voice command with Bluetooth.
Pricing for the new packages has not yet been released.
