Jeep® Grand Cherokee’s “Dark Appearance Packages” For 2020:
Four Out Of Ten Grand Cherokees, Comes With One Of These Packages...
It might be the last production year for the Jeep® Grand Cherokee (WK2) models, but the Jeep® brand continues to offer a wide variety of models for its largest and most luxurious vehicle in their current lineup. Returning for the 2020 model year, are four “Dark Appearance Packages” on the Grand Cherokee. According to Jeep®, the “Dark Appearance Packages” account for 40% of the brand’s sales on the Grand Cherokee in 2019. So let’s take a look at the 2020 model year offerings.
2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Upland:
Based on the Laredo package, the Upland adds 20-inch Gloss Black Wheels, Gloss Black Badging with Desert Sky Accents, Black Cloth Seats, Blue Accent Stitching on the Steering Wheel and Door Panels, as well as the addition of the Security & Convenience Group, and Select-Terrain (on 4×4 models). The U.S. Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of the Upland starts at $39,995 for the 4×2 model and $38,490 for 4×4 models.
2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude:
A step up from the Upland is the Altitude package. The Altitude adds the 20-inch Gloss Black Wheels, Black Capri-Leather Trimmed Seats with Perforated Suede Inserts, 8.4-inch Uconnect Infotainment Touchscreen Screen with Navigation featuring Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as the Security & Convenience Group. Starting U.S. MSRP is $37,990 for the 4×2 model and $40,290 for 4×4 models.
2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited X:
One of our favorite packages for the Grand Cherokee is the Limited X model. The Limited X adds a more sporty look by adding a little bit of SRT flare to the Limited package. The Limited X package adds 20-inch Low Gloss Granite Crystal Wheels, Low Gloss Granite Crystal exterior accents with Gloss Black finishes, SRT performance hood, Black interior Heritage LeatherTrimmed Seats, the upper scale front fascia from the Summit model, as well as the 8.4-inch Uconnect Infotainment Touchscreen Screen with Navigation featuring Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Starting MSRP for the 2020 model year Limited X is $44,755 for the 4×2 model and $46,755 for the 4×4 models.
2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee High Altitude:
The most luxurious dark package is the High Altitude package. Based on the Overland trim model, the High Altitude comes with the 8.4-inch Uconnect Infotainment Touchscreen Screen with Navigation featuring Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Low Gloss Granite Crystal Exterior Accents, Dual-Pane Sunroof, Black Nappa Perforated Leather-Trimmed Seats, a set of 20-inch Low Gloss Granite Crystal Wheels (new for 2020), and the Pro-Tech II package (which includes Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop, Advanced Brake Assist, Full Speed Forward Collision Warning Plus, Lane Departure Warning Plus, Parallel and Perpendicular Park Assist with Stop, and Rain Sensitive Windshield Wipers). The Grand Cherokee High Altitude package has a starting MSRP of $48,890 for 4×2 models and $51,890 for 4×4 models.
