Jeep® Gladiator Named 2019 Northwest Outdoor Activity Vehicle of the Year:

Jeep's New Truck Wins Three Out Of Six Categories...

The all-new 2020 Jeep® Gladiator is already racking up the trophies after being named 2019 Northwest Outdoor Activity Vehicle of the Year by the Northwest Automotive Press Association (NWAPA). This comes on the heels of being named one of Wards Auto 2019 10-Best Interiors. The Gladiator won three of the six vehicle categories during the NWAPA’s annual “Mudfest” competition.

The Gladiator earned wins in the Truck and Extreme Capability categories, respectively. Making the mid-size Jeep truck the first vehicle to win the overall, Truck, and Extreme Capability categories at the same time.

The event was held at The Ridge Motorsports Park in Shelton, Washington, where more than 25 NWAPA journalists spent two days testing over 22 vehicles from 14 manufacturers for six categories. Those categories include Subcompact Utility, Compact, and Mid-size Utility, Family Utility, Premium Utility, Trucks and Extreme Capability.

NWAPA journalists and media members from throughout the Pacific Northwest and Southwest Canada. Founded in 1991, NWAPA includes 54 voting members representing more than 700 newspapers, magazines, radio stations, media groups, and the internet. Members of the organization have been testing SUVs and crossovers since the advent of the modern sport-utility vehicle in the mid-1990s.
