Jeep® Drops Details On Brazilian-Spec 2021 Renegade and Compass:

All-New Renegade Moab Model Debuts...

The Jeep® brand has released details on its Brazilian-spec 2021 Jeep® Renegade and Compass lineup. The Brazilian-spec models are built at the Automotive Hub of Goiana (Pernambuco), which happens to be one of the most modern Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) plants in the world. Both models have proven to be important in the Brazilian marketplace, making 1 out of every 5 SUVs sold in Brazil a Jeep.

Brazilian-Spec 2021 Jeep Renegade:

For the 2021 model year, Jeep is introducing a more aggressive lineup for its Renegade lineup with the introduction of the Renegade Moab model. Named after the Moab Desert in Utah, the name is shared with a special edition Wrangler model that made its debut in 2018. The new model is powered by a 2.0-liter turbodiesel with 170 horsepower and 35.7 kgfm (or 258 lb.-ft.) of torque. The diesel is paired to a 9-speed automatic, offers 4×4 traction with a terrain selector with 4 modes and Hill Descent Control (HDC). Other features include a 7-inch Uconnect touchscreen, dual-zone air conditioning, rear parking sensors, and fog lights.

The Renegade Moab has a more aggressive off-road look, with front and rear fascias from the popular trail-rated Trailhawk. The new model also features black accents both front and rear, all-terrain tires, and 17-inch aluminum wheels. Renegade Moab models will be available in five colors for 2021, Recon Green, Ambient White, Billet Silver, Antique Gray, and Carbon Black. The new model is priced below the Longitude (our Latitude model) diesel.

Another novelty of the 2021 Jeep Renegade lineup is that the Limited 1.8 version now has a Command View panoramic sunroof as standard. In the Sport version, there is a price reduction for Uconnect option packs (7-inch Uconnect screen with dual-zone air conditioning and rear parking sensors). The popular dark-themed Night Eagle model also gets a price reduction.

There are also several color changes for the Brazilian-spec 2021 Jeep Renegade. Colorado Red is no longer offered for 1.8 AT (models with the 1.8-liter and automatic transmissions) and Sport models. Instead, the 1.8 AT models will now offer Antique Gray as an option, while Sport models will feature Recon Green, the brand’s iconic color. Night Eagle models will also have the ability to offer Recon Green as well.  With the exception of the new Moab model, the entire 2021 Jeep Renegade lineup will be arriving in dealer showrooms in the second week of August.

Brazilian-Spec 2021 Jeep Compass:

For 2021, the Compass which is already recognized for being the most technological car produced in Brazil receives a few new updates going into the new model year. The Longitude model now will feature a new set of 18-inch aluminum wheels, which give the compact SUV a more sophisticated looked. The popular Compass S has a new electric seat for passengers, offering even more comfort than before.
