Jeep® Canada Announces Pricing For All-New 2026 Cherokee
Midsize SUV Returns With Fresh Design, Advanced Tech, And Rugged Capability

Jeep® has officially confirmed Canadian pricing for the all-new 2026 Jeep Cherokee (KM), bringing back one of the brand’s most recognizable nameplates after a two-year absence. Positioned in the heart of the midsize SUV market, the Cherokee blends Jeep’s off-road DNA with modern styling, advanced technology, and improved efficiency.
Canadian Pricing and Trim Lineup –

The Cherokee will roll into Canadian dealerships in late 2025, starting with two upper-tier trims:
-
Cherokee Limited – $52,390 CAD ($49,995 MSRP plus fees)
-
Cherokee Overland – $56,390 CAD ($53,995 MSRP plus fees)
Both trims come equipped with premium materials, Jeep’s latest safety suite, and available 4×4 systems engineered for Canadian winters.
The entry-level Cherokee and Laredo trims will follow in early 2026, priced at:
-
Cherokee (base trim) – $42,390 CAD ($39,995 MSRP plus fees)
-
Cherokee Laredo – $47,390 CAD ($44,995 MSRP plus fees)
This staggered launch allows Jeep to debut its most feature-rich models first, targeting customers who want luxury and capability before expanding to more budget-friendly offerings.
Built For North America –

All Canadian-bound Cherokees will be built at Stellantis’ Toluca Assembly Plant in Mexico, which has been a cornerstone of Jeep production for decades. This facility is known for balancing global demand with North American-focused vehicles, ensuring the Canadian Cherokee lineup delivers both refinement and ruggedness.
Design and Styling –

The 2026 Cherokee debuts with a bolder, boxier exterior that nods to the legendary Cherokee XJ while incorporating Jeep’s modern design language. Signature seven-slot grille styling has been reimagined with slimmer LED headlamps, while a strong shoulder line and squared-off wheel arches give the SUV a tougher, more upright stance.
Wheel sizes will range up to 20 inches, depending on trim, and Canadian buyers will see a mix of traditional paint finishes and premium metallic options designed to stand out against snowy backdrops.
Interior and Tech –

Inside, the new Cherokee delivers a tech-forward cabin with Jeep’s latest Uconnect 5 system, displayed on a high-resolution 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto™. A fully digital driver display and available head-up display add to the premium feel.
Material quality has also taken a leap forward, with available quilted leather seating, real wood and metal trim, and ambient lighting. Rear-seat legroom and cargo space have grown compared to the previous Cherokee, addressing one of the biggest shortcomings of the outgoing model.
Safety and Capability –

Jeep has equipped the 2026 Cherokee with over 140 standard and available safety features, including Active Driving Assist, automatic emergency braking, lane-centering, adaptive cruise control, and night vision with pedestrian detection on higher trims.
Being a Jeep, off-road capability hasn’t been forgotten. Canadian models will offer Selec-Terrain drive modes for snow, sand, and mud, as well as available Quadra-Trac 4×4 systems. The Overland trim is expected to come standard with Jeep’s most advanced all-wheel-drive technology for buyers looking for confidence in tough Canadian winters.
Powertrain and Efficiency –

While Jeep has yet to confirm exact Canadian powertrain options, the Cherokee will launch on the STLA Large platform, designed to accommodate hybrid and future electrified models. Expect a turbocharged 1.6-liter hybrid powertrain to headline efficiency, with an estimated 37 mpg (6.4 L/100 km) combined and over 800 km (500 miles) of total range. Higher trims may feature a more powerful hybrid setup for added towing capacity and performance.
Filling A Market Gap –

When Jeep discontinued the Cherokee in early 2023, it left the brand without a player in the crucial midsize SUV space, which ranks just behind full-size pickups in Canadian sales volume. With the 2026 model, Jeep is taking direct aim at the Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V, Hyundai Tucson, and Ford Escape, all of which dominate Canadian roads.
By leaning on a mix of heritage-inspired design, cutting-edge safety, hybrid efficiency, and Jeep’s go-anywhere reputation, the new Cherokee is positioned to once again become a staple of Canadian driveways.
Arrival –

The Limited and Overland trims will arrive first in late 2025, followed by the entry-level Cherokee and Laredo in early 2026. Canadian buyers will have more choices than ever before, and with Jeep’s renewed focus on mainstream SUVs, the Cherokee is set to be a centerpiece of the brand’s Canadian lineup.
