All 1,000 Units Sold Out In Just Over 48 Hours...
According to Jeep® Brazil, all of the 1,000 units of pre-ordered 2022 Jeep Compass 80th Anniversary Edition models have been accounted for in their first 48 hours and 20 minutes of opening orders. The first 48 hours were exclusively open for current Jeep customers, with most of those units snapped up in that time frame. However, it only took 20 minutes for non-Jeep customers to snatch up the rest.
Those who missed the chance to pre-order a 2022 Jeep Compass 80th Anniversary Edition will be able to order the other models in the lineup, starting on Monday, April 12th.
The updated Compass introduces an updated front, revised rear, and completely new interior. Things like a new steering wheel design, instrument panel, full LED exterior lighting, wireless phone charging, and the latest infotainment technology with the new vertically presented 10.1-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen multimedia center.
The 1,000 unit Compass 80th Anniversary Edition for Brazil, featured darkened graphite exterior features, black piano interior accents, and an all-black interior. It will be available in 6 exterior colors including Billet Silver, Carbon Black, Jazz Blue, Polar White, Recon Green, and Granite Gray (new for the model). Pricing for the Compass 80th Anniversary Edition started at R $ 162,990 (or about $29,082 USD).
“Compass is a sales phenomenon and has continued with the complicated market situation that we have faced recently. Its participation in the medium SUV category has grown every year since it was launched, in 2016. Even with the arrival of new competitors, currently, the model reached almost 70% of the market share in 2021. Even so, we decided to change the team that is winning, which is at the best moment in its history, to continue winning the game. And this result of the 1,000 pre-sale units sold out so quickly only proves the successful case that this model is.”, commented Everton Kurdejak, Director of Jeep’s Commercial Operations for Brazil.
