Impressive Global Registrations

Alfa Romeo’s global registrations have skyrocketed by an impressive 57% when compared to the first half of 2022. This surge in demand is a testament to the brand’s growing popularity and the successful execution of its strategic vision. Notably, the European market has witnessed remarkable growth, with values doubling (up 100%). Key countries like France, Germany, and Italy have contributed significantly to this upward trajectory, achieving extraordinary results with an increase of 123%, 116%, and 131%, respectively.

Middle East & Africa Region’s Consistent Record-breaking Growth

In the Middle East & Africa region, Alfa Romeo continues to enjoy robust and consistent growth, maintaining the trend established in 2022. The region experienced an impressive 173% increase in registrations, indicating the region’s strong affinity for the brand. Turkey stands out as a global leader in growth rate, maintaining its exponential positive trend that has now increased more than tenfold. Moreover, Israel and the UAE have also contributed significantly to consolidating Alfa Romeo’s position in the region, with respective growth rates of 40% and 37%.

Strategic Focus on the Asian Market

Asia remains a key strategic area for Alfa Romeo, with sales results in the first half of the year remaining stable and on par with the same period in 2022. China, a crucial market for the brand, showcased substantial growth, registering an impressive 94% increase in May compared to the same month last year. The introduction of the new Giulia and new Stelvio models in China, along with the debut of the first Alfa Romeo dealer in Hong Kong, demonstrates the brand’s dedication to this promising region. The Alfa Romeo Giulia, in particular, experienced commercial success, rising by 35% in the six-month period.

Across the Atlantic, Alfa Romeo’s dedication to quality has been recognized through the prestigious Initial Quality Study (IQS) conducted by JD Power. The brand has achieved remarkable results, with a clear improvement compared to 2022. Alfa Romeo outperformed other premium brands, securing the top spot in its segment and ranking third overall in the industry. The Alfa Romeo Stelvio, in the premium compact SUV segment, also garnered the highest scores among its competitors, further solidifying the brand’s reputation for quality and excellence.

Like the Chrysler brand, I have great faith in Alfa Romeo, and all it takes is more product true to the brands heritage, classic styling themes and the finances and talent to get it done. Lock the current leadership in a room with one of these brands classic achievements and don’t let them out until they bleed Chrysler blue and Alfa Romeo red.
