Here Are How Many 2019 Dodge Challenger 1320’s Were Produced:
Drag Focused Package Proves To Be Rare...
The Dodge Challenger is available in a wide variety of trims, offering something for almost everybody. In recent years Dodge has made waves with models such as the 707 horsepower Challenger SRT Hellcat in 2015, and the one year only drag focused 840 horsepower Dodge Challenger SRT Demon in 2018.
The 2019 model year brought not one, but two new performance-oriented Challengers to the lineup, the 797 Horsepower Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye, and the drag focused 485 Horsepower Challenger 1320. Mating the big 392 cubic-inch HEMI V8 with technologies first explored with the Demon resulted in a naturally aspirated V8 muscle car that, according to Dodge, can cover the quarter-mile in 11.72 seconds at 115 MPH. While that is impressive in itself, owners are proving to beat those times in the right conditions even on the factory Nexen drag radials, which in my opinion, leave a lot to be desired.
While the Challenger 1320 is returning for 2020, even though it isn’t currently on Dodge’s build and price, the production numbers for the 2019 Challenger 1320 are out, and they are a rarity. Keep in mind Dodge produced 3,300 Demons (3,000 for the US and 300 for Canada), total 2019 Challenger 1320 production: 1,054. Of those, 1,026 were destined for the United States, and only 28 were produced for Canada.
