If you remember a couple of weeks ago, we showed you the world’s first-ever Hellcat-powered Rebel that wasn’t from Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), but our friend Charles (@that_guy_from_br) and America’s Most Wanted 4×4 in Holly, Michigan. Now the “Hellcat The World” party continues with our friend and contributor R/T Life, when he managed to catch up with a custom made Durango SRT that ditched its 6.4-liter 392 HEMI for a supercharged Hellcat HEMI V8.
We told you that Dodge//SRT is planning on bringing the Durango SRT Hellcat to market sometime in the 2021 model year, after the Jeep® Grand Cherokee Trackhawk (WK2) disappears for a while when the Grand Cherokee moves to its new architecture in the 2021 model year. But like our friend Charles, some people just can’t wait.
True Street Performance (@truestreetjim) has done an amazing job with this monster. The Demon-styled hood looks simply amazing on the Durango.
While we loved our time last year with the current Durango SRT, we love the Hellcat power of our new long-term Grand Cherokee Trackhawk and can’t wait to see a three-row Durango experience the 707 horsepower and all-wheel-drive system on the track.
Special thanks to R/T Life be sure to follow him on Instagram and of course on YouTube as well.
