Just the other day, we discussed a unique custom-built Hellcat-powered Chrysler 300 Series sedan that showed up on Facebook marketplace for sale in Michigan.
A Chrysler 300 SRT Hellcat has been on the want list of many enthusiasts since the debut on the Dodge//SRT Hellcat models in 2015. And since Chrysler hasn’t answered the call, several of those lucky enough to get their hands on a Hellcat powertrain, have made the swap in their 300s.
One of the better conversions we have seen has appeared on eBay! this past weekend. What started as a 2017 Chrysler 300S, has now been modified into an all-out performance machine. According to the seller, the donor car was a corporate vehicle in a hot and dry climate area and was never privately owned before its transformation. The transformation would take 18 months to complete. The car is now a fully-function Chrysler 300 SRT Hellcat, with a full SRT Hellcat drivetrain.
While some may think 707 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque would be plenty for most, the owner has upped the ante by adding a Stage 1 upper pulley and injector package along with an upgraded fuel system. Thanks to tuning from Hemituner Performance and DiabloSport, the car has produced 730 horsepower and 700 lb.-ft. of torque to the rear wheels on a dyno.
The car currently has no lights or codes, and everything functions as it should from the factory.
The owner states that the car is run on premium unleaded 93 octane fuel, but could produce plenty of more power with an E85 tune.
Power isn’t the only thing that has been upgraded over a normal SRT Hellcat model. The car has been lowered 1-inch thanks to adjustable coilovers, allowing the car to have a much lower stance without tire rub. The car also features OEM-style Widebody wheels wrapped with NITTO 275 555G2 rubber in the front and 305 555RII rubber in the rear. The car also features a 300 SRT grille from the 6.4-liter HEMI V8 cars found in the Middle East and Australia, LED headlamps, a functioning cowl induction hood, and tinted windows. The car also features a Hellcat’s full SRT Laguna leather seats.
The eBay! listing states that the donor car had about 40,000 miles on it, while the Hellcat powertrain only had 10,000 miles on it at the time of the transformation. Since then, the current owner has put about 1,000 miles on the car since the transformation was completed.
