Fiat Unveils 2025 500e Giorgio Armani Collector’s Edition
Meet The Next Version of the 500e, Makes North American Launch Debut...
Yesterday, at the 2024 Los Angeles Auto Show, Fiat unveiled the 2025 Fiat 500e Giorgio Armani Collector’s Edition for the first time in the North American market. This launch marks a pivotal moment for Fiat, as the brand seeks to elevate its all-electric 500e model in North America despite its current status as one of the slowest-selling vehicles in the U.S.
A Marriage of Design and Technology –
The Fiat 500e Giorgio Armani Collector’s Edition represents iconic Italian design. It was created by collaborating between Fiat’s Centro Stile Design Studio and world-renowned fashion designer Giorgio Armani. Available in two exclusive, sophisticated colors—signature green and Greige—the model showcases unique Armani-inspired details, making it not only a vehicle but a fashion statement.
This edition is designed with elegance and sustainability at its core. It features eco-leather seats, custom 17-inch wheels adorned with the GA logo, and a laser-cut dashboard insert with a woodgrain finish that highlights traditional tailoring techniques. The interior’s luxury is further defined by embroidery and attention to detail, along with the iconic Giorgio Armani logo on the headrests, dashboard, and rear window.
Electric Powertrain with Performance and Range –
Beneath its exterior, the Fiat 500e Giorgio Armani Collector’s Edition boasts impressive electric performance. The 500e is powered by a 42-kWh battery and an electric motor generating 117 horsepower and 162 lb.-ft. of torque. The 0-30 mph time of under three seconds and a combined range of up to 149 miles make it a practical choice for urban commuters while maintaining spirited driving performance.
The vehicle is also equipped with advanced charging capabilities, including a fast-charging system that provides a range of up to 31 miles in just five minutes of charging. The 500e’s battery reaches 80% in roughly 35 minutes via an 85-kW DC fast charger and takes 4.5 hours to charge fully with a Level 2 (11-kW) system.
Premium Features for Comfort and Connectivity –
The Fiat 500e Giorgio Armani Collector’s Edition has premium features to enhance the driving experience. Standard equipment includes full LED headlamps and taillamps, a wireless charging pad, a 10.25-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen, and a seven-speaker JBL audio system with Virtual Venues, offering a customized listening experience inspired by iconic locations such as the Giuseppe Verdi Opera House and Open-air Arena.
In addition to advanced connectivity, the model has a suite of safety features, including Level 2 driver-assist technology, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, and more, ensuring a safe and enjoyable ride.
“Ovation” Campaign –
The reveal of the 500e Giorgio Armani Collector’s Edition was accompanied by a new commercial campaign, “Ovation,” which captures the essence of the collaboration. The cinematic ad follows the 500e as it drives through the streets of Milan, passing iconic landmarks such as the Armani Hotel and boutique before arriving at Via Montenapoleone, where the car becomes the centerpiece of an impromptu catwalk. The campaign’s tagline, “Don’t drive it, wear it,” perfectly encapsulates the vehicle’s fusion of automotive engineering and high fashion.
Pricing and Availability –
The Fiat 500e Giorgio Armani Collector’s Edition will be available for purchase in the first quarter of 2025. Pricing details will be announced closer to the release date. Fiat’s move to present this exclusive, fashion-forward model underscores the brand’s commitment to blending Italian style with sustainable electric mobility in an increasingly competitive market.
