The Dodge//SRT brand has started August with a big bang. The performance arm of the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) lineup has kicked off a new national sales promotion in the United States called “Dodge Power Dollars”. The program rewards Dodge//SRT enthusiasts who have the craving for more power (I can hear Tim Allen, grunting now).
The program allows customers who are looking at all 2019 Dodge Charger, Dodge Challenger, and Dodge Durango models, $10 off per horsepower of the trim they are purchasing. That’s right, $10 off per horsepower! That means if you are looking at purchasing a 2019 Dodge Charger GT RWD with the 300 horsepower 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 would get an additional $3,000 off their purchase, a 2019 Dodge Challenger SRT HELLCAT Redeye with the 797 horsepower supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V8 would get an additional $7,970 off, and people looking for a 2019 Dodge Durango R/T with the 360 horsepower 5.7-liter HEMI V8 would get an additional $3,600 off the sticker price.

“Since bringing the Charger and Challenger back to market, Dodge has put 485 million horsepower into the hands of our loyal enthusiasts,” said Tim Kuniskis, Global Head of Alfa Romeo and Head of Passenger Cars – Dodge, SRT, Chrysler and FIAT, FCA – North America. “Dodge has more horsepower than anyone else, and we want to share it and give those who have always wanted more the ability to get more. The goal is to grow to a half-billion horsepower before the end of the year. This is what we believe John and Horace Dodge would want us to do.”
Sales of the Dodge Challenger hit an all-time high in 2018; Charger is on pace to lead the United States large car segment for three years running in 2019, and Durango is on pace to have its best calendar-year sales total since 2005. Still, Dodge//SRT isn’t resting.
