Dodge Releases Extended Version Of Popular Holiday Commercial:

Commercial Stars Bill Goldberg and Cristy Lee...

Two weeks ago, we showed you a bunch of new holiday themed FCA US commercials. One of which, has been getting a lot of buzz is the “Upgrade” commercial. Well now, Dodge has released an extended version of that commercial.

Dodge “Mrs. Claus” Commercial. (Dodge).

The Dodge brand will launch a social series in early December that sends up popular car restoration reality shows. The social series, which will run across the brand’s digital and social channels, including YouTube, FacebookTwitter and Instagram, will chronicle the entire process of overhauling Santa’s sleigh, revealing the reasoning for many of the sleigh’s new features, and includes Dodge “personalities” Bill Goldberg (professional athlete, NFL player, pro wrestler and automobile aficionado) as Santa and “All Girls Garage” host and automotive enthusiast Cristy Lee as Mrs. Claus.

Consumers can get in on the reindeer action by purchasing a HELLCAT Redeye Reindeer T-shirt on Dodge.com, with more holiday merchandise to follow, including the same version of the sweater worn by Goldberg in the commercial. The shirts are available in Small to 2XL and are priced at $17.95 U.S. According to Dodge there are only limited quantities available, and you must order by December 10th to guarantee shipping before Christmas.

The heavy metal track behind the spot “Santa Claus is Back in Town” is from the album “We Wish You a Metal Xmas and a Headbanging New Year.” The song was first recorded by Elvis Presley for one of his holiday albums.

To answer your question… Yes, the sleigh used in the commercial was designed by the FCA Product Design Studio in Auburn Hills, Michigan. They took an actual 2019 Dodge Challenger SRT HELLCAT and hacked it up to make the sleigh. The engine is still inside and still fires up.
