Dodge Quietly Introduces A New Blacktop Special Edition Package For Charger
V6 Model Now Gets Brembo® Brakes, Carbon Fiber, & Flat Bottom Steering Wheel...
As the last year of production for the current generation of Dodge Charger (LD), much of the focus has been on the outgoing HEMI models. However, Dodge has some special surprises in store for the car’s final year that are worth talking about.
The 2023 Dodge Charger GT RWD is an impressive car that offers both power and comfort. Equipped with an award-winning 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine that delivers 300 horsepower and 264 lb.-ft. of torque, and a TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmission, the GT is designed to stand out on the road with its SRT-inspired features, including a performance hood, fascia, sculpted side sills, spoiler, and seats. Additionally, it boasts a standard performance suspension, 3.07 rear axle ratio, enhanced steering with paddle shifters, and Dodge Performance Pages with the 8.4-inch Uconnect screen. But now the GT RWD is available with a Blacktop Special Package.

Furthermore, all 2023 Dodge Charger models will carry a special commemorative “Last Call” underhood plaque, making every vehicle unique. The brushed aluminum underhood “Last Call” plaque features the vehicle name and a vehicle silhouette, as well as “Designed in Auburn Hills” and “Assembled in Brampton” to proclaim each vehicle’s origin.
In terms of exterior colors, the 2023 models come in 14 options, including return of some colors like B5 Blue, Destroyer Grey, Plum Crazy, and Sublime.
This particular model is currently available at Eastgate Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep®, Ram in Indianapolis, Indiana. Painted in Sublime exterior paint, the car is optioned with the Blacktop Special Edition, Power Sunroof, Alpine Audio Group with Subwoofer, Technology Group, Navigation and Travel Group, and Plus Group, making it the most luxurious GT RWD you can buy. The car has an MSRP of $48,685 (including destination).
