The 2023 Dodge Durango sees the return of the R/T trim, which serves as the introductory HEMI® offering with its 5.7-liter (345 cubic-inch) HEMI V8 engine. This third-row SUV boasts best-in-class power with 360 horsepower and 390 lb.-ft. of torque. While the essence of the Durango R/T remains unchanged, it has now been divided into three distinct trim levels: R/T, R/T Plus, and R/T Premium.

Starting with the 2023 Dodge Durango R/T Plus, this model is packed with features such as Nappa leather seats, Red interior accent stitch, power sunroof, Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with stop, forward collision warning, memory seats, mirror, and radio, LED fog lamps, heated second-row seats, ventilated front-row seats, trailer tow group, Black roof rails, and integrated roof rail crossbars. With a starting price of $54,595 for RWD and $56,595 for AWD, this model also includes a 12-way power driver and passenger seats.

With a starting price of $58,095 for RWD and $60,095 for AWD, this model provides nearly $5,300 worth of content for an MSRP of only $3,500, giving buyers a discount of 34%.

Also, available on all Durango R/T AWD models is the Tow N’ Go Package. It boasts an array of features that leverage the SRT’s intimidating appearance and high-performance capabilities. The package is capable of towing up to 8,700 lbs., has a top speed of 145 mph, and includes features like multiple drive modes, including Track, Sport, Snow, and Tow, as well as a retuned SRT-performance exhaust that produces the unmistakable, iconic Dodge exhaust rumble.

Tow N’ Go models also feature several upgrades to enhance their performance, including Performance Pages, SRT active noise cancellation, Electronic Limited Slip Differential (eLSD), and SRT active damping suspension. They also include SRT wheels and tires, black Brembo brakes, flares and sills, and a distinct exhaust system with tips and lower valence. The standard 20-inch x 10-inch aluminum wheels in Matte Vapor finish are paired with Pirelli Scorpion Zero all-season tires, providing exceptional traction and handling.

In terms of safety, both models come with advanced features such as adaptive cruise control with stop, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, and advanced brake assist. The vehicles also come with a variety of airbags and other safety systems to protect passengers in the event of a collision.
