Dodge Continues To Push Its Brand In The European Market...
In a weekend packed with speed and excitement, Dodge Europe made a bold statement at the Dutch round of the World Superbike Championship, held at the iconic Assen TT Circuit, fondly known as the “Cathedral of Speed”. Fans were treated to an immersive experience, where they witnessed the adrenaline-pumping races and had the opportunity to engage with the brand in various exciting ways.
The highlight of the weekend was undoubtedly the showcase of Dodge’s official cars, with two Dodge Challenger SRT HELLCATs serving as the Official Safety Cars, alongside two Dodge Durangos fulfilling vital roles as the Race Direction and FIM Safety Officer cars. These vehicles, adorned with a special livery celebrating the partnership with WorldSBK, thrilled the crowd with their power and performance during the “hot laps” session, despite the cold and rainy weather.
Visitors to the Paddock show were greeted by Dodge Europe and its trader KW Auto, where they had the chance to get up close and personal with four formidable models available for test driving. Among them were the Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack, boasting a legendary 6.4-liter (392 cubic-inch) HEMI® V8 engine with 485 horsepower, and two Dodge Challenger SRT HELLCATs equipped with a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI® HELLCAT V8 engine delivering a staggering 717 horsepower each. Additionally, the Dodge Durango SRT HELLCAT, with its 710 horsepower, stood ready to leave enthusiasts in awe.
NHRA Top Fuel Racer and Dodge Ambassador Ida Zetterström added an extra layer of excitement to the event. Zetterström, European Top Fuel Champion 2023, had a firsthand experience of the WorldSBK action, including the exhilarating opportunity to take the first lap before Saturday’s Race 1 aboard her personalized Challenger SRT HELLCAT V8. The electrifying moment was broadcast live globally, amplifying Dodge’s reach and impact.
