Dodge Europe continues to expand its outreach to the European marketplace. Recently, Dodge Europe participated in “Dodge Day 2024,” a car event that brought together over 120 Dodge models on the picturesque banks of Lake Garda in Lazise, Italy. The Dodge Challenger Team Italia organized the event, one of Italy’s largest Dodge fan communities, celebrating the American muscle car brand and drawing more than 300 attendees.
The event showcased various Dodge vehicles, from classic models to the latest high-performance machines. Italian fans had the unique opportunity to engage with Dodge Europe’s communication projects and meet the brand’s ambassador, Ida Zetterström. An NHRA Top Fuel Racer and the 2023 European Top Fuel Champion, Zetterström was warmly welcomed by the community, arriving in a striking, Sublime-colored 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT HELLCAT Redeye.
Zetterström’s visit was a highlight of the day. She took time to sign autographs, take photos, and interact with fans, who were thrilled to meet a prominent figure in the Dodge community. She was also appointed an honorary Dodge Challenger Team Italia member by the association’s board.
One of the event’s most memorable moments was a parade of all the cars, led by Zetterström’s Dodge Challenger SRT HELLCAT Redeye. The parade, set against the stunning backdrop of Lake Garda’s winding roads, was a hit on social media. Photos of the parade posted on Dodge Europe’s Instagram channel garnered over 40,000 likes, reaching a broad audience and attracting new followers.
“The Dodge fan communities in Europe have a huge, unexplored potential in terms of brand communication,” said Luca Vernoli, Head of Marketing Communication for Dodge & Ram Trucks in Enlarged Europe. “They also offer a genuine and effective opportunity to build and maintain direct conversations with our customers online and during events such as the Italian Dodge Day. We are very proud of the work done with our partners to support this special day, and we look forward to meeting other Brotherhoods of Muscle across Europe soon.”
Dodge Day 2024 is just the beginning of a series of activities planned by Dodge Europe to strengthen its relationship with local communities and expand the European Brotherhood of Muscle. The brand aims to leverage these events to foster a closer connection with its fans and promote its muscle cars across the continent.
This initiative is part of a bigger picture, including the all-new, all-electric Dodge Charger Daytona, which will be available in Europe in early 2025.
