Dodge Durango Gets Hefty Price Increase For 2024 Model Year

Dodge has recently unveiled the 2024 iteration of its Durango lineup, bringing revised pricing and a range of feature enhancements across various trims. While the initial unveiling in September hinted at more stable pricing, the current landscape reflects notable adjustments, impacting both the sticker price and available features.

Alongside these pricing adjustments, Dodge has introduced notable enhancements to the 2024 Durango lineup:
- The Citadel trim is now eligible for the Tow N’ Go Package, previously limited to the R/T trim. This package combines towing capabilities from the Trailer Tow Group with luxury and performance features, such as an adaptive suspension, SRT performance exhaust, Brembo® brakes, and more. This option increases the Citadel’s towing capacity from 7,400 to 8,700 lbs and costs $4,995, making towing and luxury integration more accessible.
- Standardizing Blind-Spot Monitoring (BSM) across the entire lineup enhances safety features. Additionally, the Trailer Tow Group now incorporates BSM with Trailer Detect, augmenting safety measures during towing.
- The SXT, GT, and R/T trims receive upgraded versions in Plus and/or Premium variants. Interestingly, the Citadel trim does not fall into this enhanced upgrade category.
Furthermore, initial expectations hinted at the base Durango SRT HELLCAT possibly being phased out for the 2024 model year. However, it remains available in the current lineup, joining the Plus and Premium packages. Still, the entry-level HELLCAT pushes the six-figure mark when the destination is added, a costly price to pay, but if you want to get your hands on a 710-horsepower Durango, this may be your last chance.
