The Dodge Charger Daytona and Ram 1500 have claimed top honors at the 2025 MotorWeek Drivers’ Choice Awards, with the Charger Daytona earning ‘Best Sport Coupe’ and the Ram 1500 securing the ‘Best Full-Size Truck’ title. These awards highlight Dodge and Ram’s continued innovation in performance, technology, and capability.
MotorWeek, now in its 44th year, evaluates over 150 vehicles annually, selecting winners based on performance, value, innovation, and consumer appeal.
The Dodge Charger Daytona stood out as the first electric muscle car to take the Best Sport Coupe award, proving electrification doesn’t mean sacrificing performance. Available in R/T and Scat Pack trims, the Charger Daytona delivers impressive numbers, with the Scat Pack producing 670 horsepower and 627 lb.-ft. of torque, hitting 0-60 mph in just 3.3 seconds. The Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust system ensures that this EV still sounds like a proper Dodge, while all-wheel drive (AWD) provides enhanced grip and control.
On the truck side, the 2025 Ram 1500 continues to redefine the full-size pickup segment. With a redesigned exterior, luxurious interior, and cutting-edge technology, the new Ram offers best-in-class available six-cylinder horsepower thanks to its twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter HURRICANE I6 engines. The high-output (H/O) version brings 540 horsepower, while advanced towing features and over 100 available safety and security features make the Ram 1500 as capable as it is refined. The Tungsten trim raises the bar for truck luxury, offering quilted leather seats, a 23-speaker Klipsch premium audio system, and a massive 14.5-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen display.
