The French know nothing about the US auto industry, they tried to sell Renaults here that fell apart before 25,000 miles and put square headlights in Jeeps. If they are making the high up decisions then we are in trouble. Killing the V8 charger/challenger would be so typical of them
More acts of stupidity are putting square headlights and placing too many slots in the grill of the new downsized Jeep SUVs for the 1984 model year. Plus, the dummies offed a 4 door option, they just didn't understand SUVs only have two doors. Nobody else was doing this. It's a wonder Jeep survived such a debacle.

Thank you for be boneheaded enough to think New York is a part of France, (yet along you mention the wrong French company during the time Carlos had nothing to do with).
It is truly hilarious!
If you want to want & rave about Carlos, critique him running Nissan & Infiniti North America (until 2013.
Was he the one that put CVT's in everything while also plummeting their quality from Honda level to somewhere around Mitsubishi? Was he also the one that gave a dealership license to anyone that asked for one? Nissan is still in serious trouble from decisions made back then and they still may go bankrupt, covid helped them and all their "new" cars/trucks are just the same tired old re-skinned stuff they've been selling for the past decade plus.
