This was expected. But interesting that Carlos had refused to comment on this topic during the Conference Calls.

This JV follows a policy from ex-PSA of keeping 'EV production in the house either by producing and developing 'EV components by themselves or by JV.

Carlos playing Country Music for the call...........

Think 2012-2015 Chevy Silverado commercial type music.

Will give an ''on-the fly '' play-by-play of this call.

Echo is killing my ears.

Wonder how it progressed when Foxccon sign the discussion agreement with FCA?

Carlos talking about 100 days since the merger closing, and claims ''software'' is a core of Stellantis.

Carlos is working at home today.

I'm surprised. So nothing about "skateboard" BEV platform.

Carlos is talking about managing the life cycle vehicles with software.

Foxxconn states both companies will develop & design infotainment and electronics for Stellantis but with no exclusivity for Stellantis.

Le Cheap.

Bonnefont now talking (Chief Software Officer of Stellantis):

He states customer-focus not techno-driven.

They are leaving UConnect behind? I'm not sure that this is a FCA thing, something which was considered under FCA. AFAIK FCA was in talk with Foxconn about skateboard BEV car platform. This is something else. This one is about infotainment and software. I would not exclude that this one is connected to PSA's switch to Android Automotive run infotainment. Thus is something where FCA got with Samsung and UConnect 6.

Le Cost Cutter on the run?

Sound like Samsung got dumped.

He going through basically same stuff FCA talked about with Samsung.

Sound like Samsung got dumped.
To me it sounds, the whole story, that anything developed by ex FCA is in process of being dumped. Welcome mister Daiml... I mean PSA.

Now Bonnefont states Stellantis can exit and go outside the partnership on a project-to-project basis.
