Fox Factory™ Teases Street-Ready Ram 1500

Performance Pickup Coming October 6th

Fox Factory™ is gearing up to reveal something Mopar fans have been waiting for—a street-focused Ram 1500. The performance suspension powerhouse, through its Fox Factory Vehicles division, has teased what looks to be a low-slung, asphalt-ready pickup. The big debut is set for Monday, October 6th, 2025, and expectations are high for a fresh take on Ram’s full-size truck.

Sounds pretty lame to me. Dodge can't even produce their own street truck. They have to turn to some aftermarket company, that is weak. I knew it was too good to be true.

This actually might be a really smart move for Stellantis right now. It allows them to still have their initial factory vehicle stay well within compliance but still allowing for factory backed aftermarket upgrades to be offered with factory warranties through dealerships. It's really not a new concept. Companies like Roush, Steeda, Saleen, Callaway. Rocky Ridge, etc. have been doing this for years with the Ford & GM brands. No real difference here. It goes along with something I've been saying for awhile now about Dodge allowing more of the aftermarket into the customization of their vehicles through Direct Connection. This could actually be the start of what we are really looking for going forward with the way the EPA and CARB are trying to move. If Stellantis can pull this off where we can get packages like this. Imagine the doors it can open for the rest of the Mopar performance lineup when it comes to not only performance, but cosmetics as well. Think big picture!

Admittedly, before I was a Mopar fan, I was a fan of Ford's Mustang. One of the things I loved about the Mustang was the fact that you had companies like Steeda and Roush that catered to the Mustang and that you could get a Roush mustang from a dealership with all of the crazy stuff on it and different wheels and superchargers and all kinds of stuff. I loved that you could go to Steeda and get alot of things that were factory backed that were aftermarket and didn't mess up your warranty, not everything, but alot of it. That's something that no other manufacturer has right now. If Stellantis can make that work it will seriously be a game changer for the brand

Fox Factory™ Unleashes 650-HP Ram 1500 Lowered Sport Truck

Supercharged HEMI® Power Meets Street-Legal Attitude

The street truck scene just got its biggest shock in years. Fox Factory™ has officially taken the wraps off its Ram 1500 Lowered Sport Truck, a ground-pounding, supercharged street machine blending Mopar heritage with modern Fox performance engineering. While this build doesn’t come directly from Ram Trucks, it wears its Direct Connection DNA proudly — and that’s no coincidence.

When I saw this yesterday on their official account, the comments section was loaded with "Oh great, another $90,000 truck" sentiments. Will be interesting to see how these sell in today's environment where people are finally getting tired of $1,800 car payments.

So, let's put this together for everyone out there:

5.7L Hemi V8 is CARB compliant
392's and hellcats are not CARB compliant
a 5.7L Hemi V8 with this new factory backed Whipple pkg makes 650hp bolt on and is emissions compliant
it's confirmed a Hemi V8 will fit in the new Charger
Charger R/T =420hp Hurricane-6 Standard Output
Charger Scat Pack = 550hp Hurricane-6 High Output
Charger Daytona = 650hp (or maybe a little more) CARB COMPLIANT 5.7L Supercharged V8 w/ AWD and improved 8-speed transmission

If this kit is available for the Durango GT with the Stow and go it under cuts the Hellcat Durango by alot with nearly the same power, making the Durango R/T-392 absolutely pointless.
This setup also makes sense for a Ram 1500 R/T, Rebel G/T or Warlock G/T package pickup.

While it may not make Demon 170 hp number, this is still a potent package for anything that this powertrain goes in. It also gives hope that Dodge will bring back the 5.7L Stage Kits. Apache heads, Cam, CAI, tune, Supercharger, full exhaust kit, etc. Not only for the previous gen cars but if they put the 5.7L Hemi in the new Charger with the Supercharger pkg, it should be a no-brainer that there are Emissions compliant stage kits for that as well.

There is a flip side to this though. This is all great for the high performance end and for new Halo upper echelon vehicles. There still haven't been talks of Affordable "GT" level models for the Charger. It's great that performance lives on but if no one can afford these cars, they're going to be gone soon anyway.
